Yes I did, my points were 181.

The average for early admission was 180. I believe there are 70 people in the NUR 111 class, that is what I was told in email. As far as how many ppl applied I dont know. I hope I was able to help a little.

Is there anyone that has applied to Sandhill Community College and had less than 170 for a cumulative score, and got into lpn or adn program?

Hello, I am also trying to get into Sandhills. I just wanted know why you had to rush and take the Hesi test, is there a spring admission?

Thanx for responding, did u think that the program (LPN) was hard to get into? Where there alot of ppl trying to get in and did not/ also for the ADN? If you know. I know the program will be difficult but im ready for the ride. Do you think the program ADN was hard or do you think instructors did not know how to instruct as far as the low graduate numbers? Also the excelsior program how was that, was it difficult? This may be a weird question but for the excelsior program do you have to find your own clinical site for clinicals? Sorry for all the questions just a curious person!! Thanx:D

Hi everyone, I was interested in becoming a FNP but my ultimate goal is to have my own practice. Is there anyone pursuing their own practice. If so, can you give me any tips, anything you wish you could differently? I have a long time before I get to that point... very long so I'm just preparing myself before I get to that point. Although I was not saying that a CNA certification was required for admissions, I was just wondering would it up my chances of getting into ECU's program, but I know a HIGH GPA is more important. VickeyRN I have feeling like you know more about the ECU program,has the program admitted anyone with the minimum GPA?

Is there anyone in the traditional track at East Carolina University? They allow 130 ppl into their program. And I know all 130 ppl do not have straight A's in their prereqs. I guess my question is does anyone know someone who was accepted to the traditional track and maybe had a "C" or two in the prereqs? Also does having your CNA I and CNA II certificate really give you a better chance of getting in the program? Anyone feel free to comment.

Thanks everyone for your advice and personal experience. All of my prereqs are As and Bs its just my general ed classses are low. Anyways Im still going to apply and hope for the best. Once again thanks everyone for your responses!!!

Anyone applying to Duke and/or ECU ABSN program and have less than a 3.0 GPA? I asked an admission advisor about my situation and she said since I had a high GRE score this could out weight my low GPA. Has anyone been accepted to these programs or any ABSN program and had a low GPA? Any advice or personal experience would help!!

Im interested in the ECU program and was wondering if anyone would share their prereq grades, GPA, GRE score and how your interview went and any advise for the interview. I just wanted to see if I stood a chance. Thanks!!!!!!!!!

Anyone applying to Duke for the Fall of 2010? Anyone going to the open house they have on the 26? I do not know if anyone else is in the same situation I am in but Im having a difficult time in asking instructors for letters of recommendation. I don't know any of the instructors well enough to ask for a letter of recommendation. I think what I will do is ask a professor on the first day of class of the next semester to observe me in class and lab (Im a biology major) so they will have something to say about me. Does anyone think this is appropriate?
