  1. Hi All: Does anyone plan to attend the part-time evening/weekend at Pace University? I plan to attend this program. However, I received the tentative schedule this week that stated classes will start at 5 p.m. I was under the impression that the evening & weekend program catered toward working individuals and people work from 9 AM to 5 PM. This is really disheartening because this may really affect my ability to attend. Is anyone else having this issue?

  3. Hi BrinaBear: I'm starting the part-time CDP program in the Fall at Pace as well. I'm excited. I'm in the process of getting all the required documents together. Have you taken the CPR course yet?
  4. Hello s0615: I will be attending Pace in the Fall as well. I have the same question and I haven't gotten a definite response. Which campus will you be attending? Are you in the 1 yr or 2yr program? Have you registered yet? Sorry for all the questions I'm just a bit excited :)
  5. missathena, pace does have an accelerated bsn program. if you attend full-time it's the bsn portion of the bsn/msn but it does require the gre. russsfo, i visited with liu today and spoke with an advisor. they have rolling admissions so there isn't a deadline. i think the same is true for adelphi. try calling the nursing department at both schools.
  6. The deadline for Pace is June 1st.
  7. Pace University , Long Island University (not absolutely sure, but look into it), and Adelphi University. All of these school are in New York.
  8. Hi All. I am new to allnurses. Well, actually I discovered the site months ago but this is my first posting. I am pre-nursing student that is interested in becoming a labor & delivery nurse (eventually a midwife). Anyhow, came across this article about breastfeeding and I am interested in how nurses feel about this issue and this article. http://www.theatlantic.com/doc/200904/case-against-breastfeeding
