  1. wow thanks for all the great answers, CGFNS is hard to reach we didnt get through during their 2 hours/day call time - thank god we're not in india or china having to call at 4am but yea, seems theyre more like a bouncer hindering the process rather than helping people from what i read, fortunately they aint important no more =D just wanted to add this nice article i found, http://knol.google.com/k/cyril-lemboe/how-can-a-foreign-educated-registered/3p8kyeqem51p/3# talks of how some states waive 2 year work exp. [prereq for NCLEX] - w/ 120hrs class/supervised by RN FOR NEW MEXICO i found... so much easier seems you just need 1 english exam TOEFL - IELTS 2 transcripts eval service or CES 3 fill in RN app like any other NM student 4 nclex dingdingding!!! Attention - Internationally Educated Applicants for Licensure The New Mexico BON ...info on intl. lic. req. by clicking on Exam/Renewal Forms, then select "Exam Application" for complete details regarding app. CES transcript places eres.com ierf.org jsilny.com cgfns ps emily how are things going for you so far have you had any problems? did you apply as a US or foreign citizen? REDRANGER, what does ATT mean?
  2. wow awesome videos! im barely gonna check them out but the thumbs look awesome, i also recommend you try the flashcard page, if you also need stuff like pharm, etc, go to the main page and look at the very end of the page, there you can find subjects by tags, pathology, medical, cadrio, etc http://www.flashcardexchange.com/ and these are the ones put under "nursing", take a look its got a wealth of stuff in here http://www.flashcardexchange.com/tag/nursing michigangirl thanx for that awesome link =D
  3. hello everyone, im helping my friend get some info on this whole visa process, hes a nurse teacher in Juarez[mexico] and wants to make a guide for the students because with 4 nursing schools here, plus UTEP in El Paso,Tx theres not a word about CGFNS being needed, my teacher actually learned of it from here and hes seen plenty of students take this process it seems no one locally uses CGFNS and they do just fine theres 5 nursing schools ive looked into, they dont have a definitive answer, but none seems to even know CGFNS and have done perfectly fine getting students to their nclex and the rest of the process its confusing here because, we get alot of american US students and they just need the nclex, but could having an NCLEX and TOEFL score void needing CGFNS for Mexicans too? i read on y!answers that NCLEX supercedes CGFNS so it sounds pretty useless if you passed your nclex we being next door to US, w/consul & hospitals knowing & hiring us obiously helps, even UTEP el paso didnt mention needing it [they do nclex prep for MX nurses - assuming you have a tourist visa of course i can see where this would be needed for somewhere more north that doesnt have the closeness to knowing the mexican schools, but here many hospitals are familiar with students from juarez anyway i am relying on rumors, can someone help? UTEP seems to have some sort of sponsorship program so maybe they do it for you, but those who did it on their own dont recall CGNFS at all so do you need? it or is it just some middle man with a nice sounding name?
  4. hi have you done a search on youtube or google video? there is also a great resource on flash card exchange i highly recommend, just look for the nursing or rn tag
