Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?
ok, so the trick worked for me again. The first time I took the NCLEX-RN in March it let me go to the CC payment page. This time, I took it on May 4 and it did NOT let me go to the CC payment page and today may 6 i found my name on the CA BON website with an RN next to it :) I FINALLY PASSED!!!

Passed NCLEX on 2nd try!!! What I did differently...
I took the NCLEX-RN for the 2nd time on May 4. And today, May 6 I saw my name on the CA BON website!!! FINALLY PASSED!!!!!!!!!! What I did differently: The first time I took it, I studied for 2 months for 5 - 6hrs a day, I didn't work, didn't party, I don't have kids...I Just STUDIED. I took Kaplan, attended all the classes, did all the Question Trainers and finished the entire QBank and read the rationales for the questions I got wrong and also the ones I got correct. I also read Saunders 4th edition. Anyway, I failed at 265 questions. I did not get any math questions, no sata, no fill ins, no hot spots, no drag and drop questions. I mainly got priority questions and medications. The second time around, I did something different and risky. I decided not to study as hard because I think I studied so hard the first time that my brain went into information overload. So the second time around I only studied for 3 weeks for about 1 - 2hrs a day. I only did about 40 learning ext. questions a day as opposed to the 100-200 Kaplan questions I did per day the first time around. And that's all I did...NCSBN Learning Extension questions for an hour or two per day for 3 weeks. I did not read any review material but I did look over lab values a few times. I knew it was a HUGE risk to not study so much, but I was simply sick of studying. Anyway, I stopped studying 3 days before taking the NCLEX again and I went into the exam telling myself that I WILL PASS with 75 questions. I told myself "I am going to make 75 critical decisions on 75 patients and that's it. Common sense and good judgment call." I took the test, I got about 6-7 SATA, 2 drag and drop, no math calculations, no fill ins, a few delegations, a few infection control and the rest were priority questions and medications. After almost 2hrs of taking the test, it stopped at 75...and when it did, I KNEW I PASSED. And today, I found out that I did!!!!!!!!! So that's my story...All I have to say is just believe in yourself!

Anyway, the first time I took it I did the "pearsonvue trick" and it let me re-register to take the exam again. This time it is not letting me re-register, so that's a very good sign :)

Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?
Hey everyone! So the first time I took the NcLEX-RN in March, I did this trick and it let me go all the way to the credit card payment page. Sure enough I got that small white envelope that said I failed. Yesterday I took the test for the 2nd time at 8am finished around 10am. At around 5pm I did the trick and it blocked me from the cc page and I got that pop up with the message "Our records indicate... ". So hopefully this time around I did pass :)

Is 1 month enough time to study for nclex-rn?
I think it really depends on the person. I started studying in January, took the test in March and failed. I have friends who worked and had kids to take care of and only studied a week before the test and passed. I also took Kaplan, and a lot of my friends who passed didn't take Kaplan or any review course. So it really depends on you.

Failed NCLEX-RN with 265 Qs in CA
I took the NCLEX-RN in CA on March 2, I received the results yesterday that I failed. It stopped me at 265 questions. I did not get any math questions, no sata, no fill ins, no hot spots, no drag and drop questions. I mainly got priority questions and medications. I was Above passing in one category and the rest I was near passing. I took Kaplan, attended all the classes, did all the Question Trainers and finished the entire QBank and read the rationales for the questions I got wrong and also the ones I got correct. I also read Saunders 4th edition. By the way, I did not have any anxiety going into the test and leaving the test. I went in calm and relaxed and went out calm and relaxed. So I definitely don't have the so called "test anxiety" that sometimes causes people to not think clearly during the test...Anyway, my point is, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I started studying in January, I didn't work, didn't party, I don't have kids...I Just STUDIED...and still failed. Any advice on what I should do to prepare for the next time I take the test?

I tried the trick a week after I took my NCLEX-RN. It let me go all the way to the credit card info page. Yesterday, I got a small white envelope in the mail stating I FAILED. So the trick worked for me...credit card page = Fail. Everyone I know who was blocked from the credit card page Passed...
