What is most important to you in your scrubs?
Decent amount of pockets is important, but a MUST for me is how well it shows off my traps and my incredibly deltoids. I like the bariatric patients to know that their in good, strong hands;-)

Question about odds of passing NCLEX with out Dosage calculation with 75 q's
A buddy of mine had two math questions and passed in 75.

I think I failed at 75 questions
If it was a really obscure med, it could have been one of the 15 that don't count for or against you. That's what I told myself when I got some weird ones earlier this week. I figure it like this. 85% of people pass the first time. Out of the 15% or so that do not, i'm sure the odds aren't very high that you fell into the small group that fails in 75. You're probably fine. I would have bet anyone money that I failed mine as well.

Kaplan Prep Takers... What was your % before taking NCLEX?
My highest question trainer exam score was 57%. I did every single qbank question, averaging out at 62%. Passed the nclex in 75 questions. Honestly, without a doubt, Kaplan's format provides the BEST representation as to what you'll see on the NCLEX, IMO.

Took NCLEX today, shut off at 75.....
Well.... 1 SATA: Heartache ZERO Med Math: Worry Lots of choose whom first: Frustration Lots of infectious Control: Confusion 10 Ultra Random Med questions: ******-offness 75 Questions then it's Done-zo: Fear Finding out you passed your boards when you would have put MONEY down on the fact that you didnt.......priceless No matter how many people say it, I don't think people will believe it. But it really doesn't matter how many SATA questions or other "high level questions" you get. I only got 1 SATA, and a few friends of mine didn't get any. All of us passed in 75. Even after reviewing the q's I could remember, and seeing that I put down the incorrect answers for ALL of them....it's just nice to only have to wait 24 hours. Thanks PA State BON! It felt so good to go into work today and hang my big RN badge behind my ID badge.....(I'm a dude, so I don't really resemble this at all).

Took NCLEX today, shut off at 75.....
Haha, sorry if my post made you anxious! I'm sure you did fine. Your test sounds identical to mine. No drang and drop, no calculation, one SATA, about 10 or so med questions. I had a few peds questions and some some, but no OB. I'm sorry you have to wait so long! Hopefully I'll find out by tomorrow sometime, since it seems like PA has been posting on their site the following day. Either way, I've earned some well deserved beers with some of my buddies this weekend.

Took NCLEX today, shut off at 75.....
Thanks, I appreciate the kind words. I've been working as a GN at a local hospital, so it was difficult to study for the boards while trying to learn how to be a real nurse. I know I can't really make excuses for myself at this point, so all I can do is take it easy, and pray. I really don't think I could have done poorly enough to warrant the test shutting off so soon, but we will see....

Took NCLEX today, shut off at 75.....
Ok, I know everyone posts this sorta thing, but i'm so anxious, so maybe creating a post myself will help some of the stress. I took the exam this morning. It shut off at 75, I felt good coming out....then I made the huge mistake of looking over some of the questions I had trouble with(that I remembered). It seems like all the ones I looked at I put the wrong answer down. I got tons of med questions, one SATA, and a bunch of infectious control and "who would you see first" questions. I'm freaking out big time, I don't feel like I did terrible, but I definitely don't think I could possibly have done well enough to pass in just 75 questions. I'm in PA, so hopefully I can find out tomorrow.
