  1. I enjoy your posts and have a question for all. I passed the test and received the call to go to the next round with my entrance interview. Do you all have remember what this process involves ? or what are the types of things they are going to ask me ? I am hoping to attend the Cincinnati Galen and not sure if you all had the interview process as well. I have my interview this coming Wed and was hoping you all could give me a little direction. hoping to be accepted to the Oct 2009 class.
  2. I actually failed it but have been studying very hard and am taking it tomorrow night 6/30/09 @ 5 pm. Have you taken it yet ? Wish me luck as I am extremely nervous
  3. When you say no penalty for marking wrong answers...they dont count against you even though they are wrong ? but they count against you if you skip them ? I have been up studying for what seems like days....My test is tomorrow at 5pm and Im really not processing logical things right now...so bear with me LOL I am taking this test for the 2nd time and have really studied my butt off. Any last words of wisdom ?
  4. You need to call and talk to admissions. I took the test and unfortunately failed it by 2 points. I will be re-testing in May for the July session. Call Wendy because she said they let you know within a week if you are accepted. Good Luck !
  5. Hello ! I am a 1st time poster so sorry if this is long...I am testing at Cincinnati Galen College of Nursing for RN program. I am 35 years old and have been out of school forever . I have my CPat on March 9th and am freaking out. I have study material but its not sinking in and the math...I just keep reaching for the calculator. My question is...Is there a ton of math questions ? what do you recommend that I know (ie. division long hand, common denominators, fractions etc) ? I am in a panic and am almost thinking of not taking the test!! Im very scared to be a student at this age as it is. The one thing I do know is that when I shadow at the local hospital, I love it !! Please any suggestions or those who have taken the test please give me as much detail as points to study Thanks in advance.
  6. Congrats !!! How soon did you find out that you got accepted ? The wait will kill me. Thanks for the book name
  7. Im testing on the 9th in hopes to get into the April class. I am an older student and am freaking out about this test. Can you tell me any specific area to study for the math & grammer. Im almost so scared that Im doubting whether to take this test or just give up on this dream to be an RN. Thanks in advance.
