I've now failed NCLEX-RN twice....
I just took the test for the third try and got the bad pop up! I can't stand this because I did so well in nursing school and this one thing is keeping me from doing what I love! I'm not giving up though but I struggle with the fact that I am failing at this! I wish you all the luck and don't give up!

Drexel's NCLEX RN review
Ok so I took the exam for the second time on May 3rd and failed! Before I took it the 1st time I used Saunders Book and NCSBN (5 week online program) and this time I took the Kaplan online course. Has anyone taken the Drexel online or class review course? I am trying to figure out the best route to take! Any advice would be helpful!

Kaplan Readiness Test Scores
ok so i just bombed the rediness test with a 50% and not i am freaking out and confused! i haven't been doing the greatest on the question trainer tests about 55%-58% (all done but #7), but i have finished all the q-bank questions which i averaged between 58% -71% and i'm now on my second round of those questions and i am now averaging 79%-89%. all qbank tests i have taken test mode and 50 questions. i have been feeling pretty good about myself and about taking the nclex on monday but now i am starting to second guess myself as to whether i should be rescheduling it! does anyone have any ideas of what i should do for the next day and 1/2 that i have left besides relax and do nothing (my anxiety won't allow me to do nothing? all ideas would be appreciated!

Kaplan Readiness Test Scores
I am about to take the readiness test on the online Kaplan Course and I was just wondering what scores other people got? Also what is considered a good score? I have taken all of the other test in this program and I have completed all of the q-bank questions and I am now just taking q-bank tests over and over and over. My 1st time around taking the q-bank questions I averaged between 58%-71% and now taking all the questions over again I have been averaging between 79%-89% (this is with taking all 50 question tests). I hope with these better scores the second time around that this means I am retaining the information. I am taking the NCLEX exam for the second time on Monday and I really hope that I can make it through this time!

About to take the NCLEX for the 2nd time...Help
Thanks Lizapadgett! I too the 1st time taking it only had 75 questions! I have taken all of the q-bank questions so far and I am now on taking all of the ones that I got wrong my 1st time around. I also have only taken 2 of the practice tests...so I haven't gotten to the 265 test yet or the test that you take at the end of the course to see how much better or worse you are doing! Thanks for your encouraging words!

About to take the NCLEX for the 2nd time...Help
Ok so I failed the NCLEX back in Feb. and I am about to take it again on May 3rd! I'm not trying to be a "Debbie Downer" but my stomach is in a million knots, I've lost my appetite, and getting very anxious. I've been trying to think positive and stay calm but i'm having a hard time. I have been taking the Kaplan online program since the week I failed the NCLEX. I feel that the course has been helpful...but I can't get over the fact I was the one of two people that passed my college's exit exam out of 32 people and I failed the first time and now the test is harder. Help...Any advise would be appreciated!!!

Help!!! Took the NCLEX yesterday morning!
Ok... so I took the NCLEX exam yesterday morning and I can't stop freaking out! The exam stopped at 75 questions and I almost feel like I went around in circles. All of my questions were either SATA, math, and a few med ones. The question I got the most was "If you were assessing your patients which patient would be priority" and then I would have the 4 different patients to choose from. I'm going crazy! Has anyone had this before? Does this sound like I could have passed or does this mean that I could have failed?

Resume HELP!!
I will be graduating in Dec 2009! I have been trying to type up my resume to start applying for jobs but i feel i am getting no where! I think because I have been working on if for so long and continually changing it I am getting way to detailed. Does anyone have any ideas or layouts that I should follow so I don't go way over board on my resume? The layout I am following is: Objective Education Clinical Experience - I have listed the facility i went to, hours i completed, what floor i was on, and also a discription of what i did during that rotation. Skills Employment Certifications Affiliations References I would greaty appreciate any help since the jobs out there these days are slim to none:o! I keep siking myself out since I can't find any jobs here in the Philadelphia/Suburb area that is avaliable to graduate nurses which means I really need to sell myself not only in person but on paper!!! Thanks for all of your help in advance!!

Applying for Nursing Jobs...
I'm currently a nursing student and I will graduate in Dec 2009. I have been hearing mixed messages! Some people are telling me that I need to apply NOW and others are telling me that I should wait! Does anyone have any recommendations as to how long you waited? Also, when it comes time to apply...do you apply online, go to the hospital, or call?
