Question about Reapply/Repeat Examination Application for NCLEX-RN. On the application, it says LAST EXAM APPLIED FOR: MONTH, YEAR. What do they mean by that? The reason I am confused is because the next question is asking about LAST EXAM TAKEN: MONTH, YEAR. It sounds like a similar question. Thanks all...

Hi darthgirl: Now that everything is said and done, lets just do what is best and move on forward. We'll do better next time. Let's try to motivate each other until we take the next nclex (worse case scenario). I think we can retake the test 45 days from the day we took it right?! Anyhow, lets just do that.

Well guess what...I called the CA-BRN today and I was luckily able to talk to an operator...yeehay...after 5 minutes of waiting. Anyhow, I asked him if they already send my result and he said that they did 2 days ago. So now, i'm expecting the mail to arrive either tomorrow (fri) or saturday...scary! Wish me luck guys, despite I already have a feeling about my result.

Is it possible to get a letter indicating you have pass after 2 weeks and not see your name on the website? What is the possibilities? Any comment would be appreciated.

I feel the same way darthgirl. How did you get to talk to the operator? I called the CA-BRN this morning and press 0 to talk to the operator, but it tells me to please call back again later and hang up. What time did you call them? I want to find out if they already send me the letter.

I agree. If you dont see ur name on the site after so many days then you have a slim chance of passing. The letter is just another way of saying u need to study again.

Hi Jenny73: Nope, still no result. I called the CA-BRN today and the automated machine says that they are experiencing a very high volume of calls and it tells me to please call again later, then it automatically hungs up on me. Compared last week, I was able to talk to the operator. I'm doing better now than last week. I think i'm on my acceptance phase already. How bout you?

Hi darthgirl: So sorry to hear your problem. Hope we get the good news soon by mail. After attending a 4 year public institution, I also have a loan to pay. Plus I am renting an apartment with a room mate. I tried to get a part-time job but most aren't hiring, unless if you're in the health care field. That is why I need this license so I can get a job soon, if not sooner. I hope the BRN realize that this is our career that is being delayed.

Hi dmat317: Did your friend took the NCLEX in CA? I know its not fair. I've been waiting for almost 2 weeks but still no result. I already started studying again today. I don't have time to wait for another 2-4 weeks. It's a waste of time. Hi shadowz: Everyone here feels your frustration. 30 business days to receive a letter is ridiculous!!! That is 5 weeks!!! I hope that long wait of yours is better be WORTH it (PASSING RESULT) because you could have done so much in 5 weeks. Its sad that we did our part on paying the CA-BRN fee $$$ so that we could expect to see our result at least on time, but now they're saying 30 business days! I won't be suprise if they increase the processing fee someday too.

Hi Darthgirl: I'm keeping my fingers crossed until the mail comes in. I have Saunders 3rd edition so I will spend at least 3-4 hours each day until I finish the book. Last time, I didn't used Saunders but relied only on Kaplan Q&A. Their strategy didn't helped much during the test. I need to seclude myself and do lots of questions until I find out if I pass or until I retake the exam.

It's been 10 days already...ugh!

Hi darthgirl: I am sharing your feelings right at this moment. Honestly, i'm already looking at my saunders and going over page by page. I know it's hard, but I just can't wait 2-4 weeks to get our result by mail, only finding out its the other way around. I'm slowly going to start studying again so just incase I get the bad news in the mail, I wouldn't feel that I should have done something while waiting. Besides, if I did fail, I will be eligible to take it again by April. By that time, I will be ready because I started sooner. However, If I receive that letter indicating that I pass, the extra time I put on studying will be towards to my personal gain. Its a win win situation. Worse case scenario, do you have a plan on how are you going to study next time for nclex? We should give each other some tips.

Hi Silverdragon102: Thanks for the positive support. It's just that some of my classmate already have their result online within 3-4 days. I'm still waiting for the mail though (crossing my finger)

Hi Jenny73: Yeah you're right. I think i'm going to start hitting the books again today. It has been 9 days already Jenny73 and it is not a good sign at all. Why wait for the letter to come via mail (2-4 weeks!!!) if I could start studying slowly now. I don't want to sound too negative but I just don't like false hope. I'm not giving up at all. I will do better next time. Can anyone share their experiences on test taking tips on passing the nclex-rn that actually work?

Yes, I called them up today and the representative said that my file is complete. She just told me to wait for my result in the mail. I also asked her how long do they post the result online (I know a stupid question). She actually didn't comment but told me to wait for my result in the mail. So far, it has been 5 days, not counting holidays and weekends, since I took it. The wait is so frustrating.

I'm very happy for you!!! You did it!!! I guess for me, I'll just wait for the mail to come in. I took mine Feb 16th and still no show. I think I just need to start studying again.

I have an Interim Permit. They say that if you fail the nclex, your Interim Permit will no longer be valid. So does that mean that it will no longer show in the BRN IP verification if you fail it? Mine still does so I guess I still have hope of passing the nclex. Am I right or wrong?

Hello to all: This week is what we've been anticipating to see our names on the CA-BRN website. I know it has been a very rough weekend but lets try to hang in there until we physically get the mail from the BRN. I'm glad I found this website because it allows me to vent my feelings about my test. I'm also glad that we're all in this together. Goodluck to all of us who took the test last week. hi veronicuhh: When did you take your test? Did you check your name on the website friday? The reason why i'm asking is because you said you saw your name yesterday on the site. I thought the BRN doesn't update because they are close. Just asking. Congrats!

Hi loreign: Sorry to hear that. When did you take your test? How long did you have to wait to find out your result? How many test questions you answered until it stopped? Mine stopped at 75 question but I have a mixed feeling whether I pass or not. I'm waiting for mine since the 16th and still no show.

Hi suzanne4: When you say the average wait is 10 days to a month, does that include weekends or just regular business day? Thanks for being patient to us too.
