  1. Hi Casserooni Sorry.... University of South Carolina and Georgia Board of Nursing. Let me know, if you need anything else.
  2. I did the spring semester at University of SC. Applied to the GA BON. But you might want to also check with some Tech. College. Might be cheaper, if you just need the 2 classes. Good luck.
  3. Hi I am also a nurse from Germany and wanted to let you know, that it will take some time, but it is possible. It took me about 2 years, since I needed 2 classes and had to back to school for one semester, but it helped me to prepare for the NCLEX. Be patient, but persistent with CGFNS, it can get frustating at times, but you have no choice, but to use them. Good luck, let me know, if you need anything else.
  4. Hi I am an Nurse from Germany and was missing Peds and Psych. per CGFNS. It took me a while , but I was finally able to find a University- School of Nursing, where I could take these 2 classes. I only had to enroll for a semester, but I needed the class room hours, as well as the clinical hours. It was not easy and a lot of hard work, but it was worth it. Let me know, if you needed anything else. Just did it last year, took the CGFNS test after thtat and than the NClex -RN this Jan. and passed.
  5. Took the test last month and at times, it still does not seem real, that I have actually passed. I am an internat. graduate and graduated Nursing school in 1987. I've decided to get my RN license here in the US and it took me over 2 years of hard work to be successful. Many roadblocks, lots of hard work and the support from my family and friends. But I did not give up and it paid off in the end. The NCLEX was not was I've expected and I was so sure that I had failed.I was very nervous and felt that I was guessing more, than " knowing" the answer. No math, several Meds., lots of infection control. Computer shut off @ 75 questions and I was sick to my stomach. This cannot be happening, I wanted more questions to prove that I could pass, but no, the computer shut off.!!!! I was telling everybody, that I am sure that I had failed the test and that I might as well start to register to re-test. The longest 2 days in history, to wait for results!!!! When I went to the quick results on Sunday morning, I was so nervous and felt like throwing up before clicking the " next" button. But it said passed!!!! A weight was lifted of my chest, I was so relieved. Unbelievable. If I can do it at my age , after graduating Nursing school in '87, anybody can!!!! I did the Saunders review book, Nclex 4000 questions. I did 150 - 200 questions every day and studied every day for 4 weeks. Good luck everybody. and thank you,:redbeathe for all the postings. It helped so much to read about people who are in the same situation.
