First of all, I am EXTREMELY happy to hear that there is no particular reason that your daughter doesn't want to shower while at her father's. Thank GOD Ms. Tracy B, You're correct, I don't have a child with extreme Eczema, I AM THE ONE with it. I use a moisturizing soap (Dove), lots of applications of creme and, also, a steroid creme (during times that it really flairs up). I have been known to use a bit of Vaseline at times and it's very soothing. I can only say what works for me and you can do what you want. One thing that I have found is that whether I take a shower on a day or not, I still have to use cremes, so I may as well be clean in the process. Cleanliness is very important in my home and this is not something that's compromised. You do what works best for you and yours.... Anyway, as I said, I am just so happy to know that this is not another case of sexual abuse. :) :) :)

I agree that if people are given enough rope that they, usually, hang themselves. I know that you're mad b/c you study sooo hard, but just think, this is just the beginning. You're gonna encounter tons of people who will cheat....don't focus so much on what they're doing, but what you need to be doing to succeed. I'm sure your focus is best suited in otherplaces. HOWEVER, if you do decide to make a stand and "tattle", don't tuck your tail in and be scared. I'm not saying that you should broadcast that you were the person who told, but don't follow-up "trying to do the right thing" by saying, "Don't tell them I said it." I've always thought that that was extremely wimpy. I feel that it takes courage to do the right thing....either be courageous or don't! That's how I handle things :)

Oh, my gosh... I couldn't imagine NOT bathing my child (or myself) every single day. I don't care what's going on, there is no way that being dirty is unacceptable! Imagine if they don't get in the habit of daily bathing and they grow up to be men/women who don't bathe daily....gross! Would you wanna be married to them??? My son is 4 years old and even as an infant, he received daily baths or he had them every night. Even in the winter he takes showers every day--with me washing him. It's the same as me brushing his teeth. I just think that hygiene is extremely important. More importantly, girls need to know the importance of daily bathing. Not bathing every day is equivalent to not washing your hands thoroughly when leaving the restroom....to me. p.s. As far as dry skin or Eczema is concerned, that's why they make Eucerin lotion and Elidel cream. Not an option.....just my opinion.

Good Day. I'm a little confused about several of your responses to this question. SInce the CRNA schools require at least one year critical care (they define) experience, are you saying that you can apply if you haven't graduated yet??? I was thinking that you needed to graduate with your BSN, THEN work, then go into the CRNA school. For instance with me: I'm still taking my pre-req's. When I'm accepted into a Nursing program, can I work as a tech or something in critical care then once I graduate, go straight in a CRNA program (providing that I'm accepted ). IF that's the case, that will take about a year off of the time that I can get in. (I hope this makes some sense.) Thanks lsm

Everyone, Thank you for such encouraging words. I was a bit down about the class, but since I wrote the email, I looked at it as being a wake-up call for me to quit whining, quit complaining and do what I have to do! The Lord promised me that he would be here for me, but he didn't say that it would be easy-- I guess I didn't "really" realize that. Thank you All! Lanitra

Amy, It's pretty sad that I needed you to tell me that...but I did! I knew that it would take some sacrifices, but I wanted to pick and choose what I was willing to sacrifice. Now, I see that it wasn't enough. Thank you!

Can anyone assure me that I stand a chance getting into nursing school (in about 2 1/2 years) and later CRNA school since I'm failing my first anatomy class and will have to re-take it next semester......I'm terrified!!!! Thanks:o
