  4. This is a question for people who have used multiple NCLEX review CDs. In your oppinion, which one provides the most challenging/difficult questions? I am pretty dissatisfied with Mosby, it seems too easy. Thanks! Alex
  5. I dont remember my letter saying anything about how many semesters it would take. However, i was initially enrolled to only take "core" classes for my first semester. This is because there were no spaces left in clinical. But, i recieved a call about a week into the first semester, and was told that a space had opened up and i could start the program and clinicals next week.
  6. I am a transfer student at USF, I am currently in my 3rd semester (junior 1), and I never had to take these courses. I am on track to graduate in 6 semesters.

  11. repetition. these are your first exposures, it will become second nature when you see it every day.
  12. I second all of that. If you have never worked in a prehospital environment, it could be hard to transition. It is a different mindset. Obtaining your EMT-B will help with understanding the way things are done.
  13. This is true. I am a student at USF, a transfer student, and was one of the lucky ones to be picked to start clinicals. I was originally admitted to have my clinicals pushed back a year though, but I luckily received a phone call saying there was a spot open. I will be a junior next semester. I recomend the school, but apply EVERYWHERE!
  14. Even if she does not need it, I would recommend it. Experience never hurts on college applications, or on resumes.
