  1. Do you have to be active in your business for a certain amount of time before you are able to get a Medicaid provider number? Im here in GA as well.
  2. WEird angel I feel your pain. But we can do it if we focus. Maybe we can start study sessions for the test that we have left to do. I think I made this suggestion before this may help us increase our confidence levels and get thru this together.
  3. live&love if you go to the blackboard with the nurs challenges on there it will give you the books that you can use to study from. It includes the pages and all, as well as an outline it may help to scan over to go along with your study guides
  4. be sure to study the areas you feel weak in and get familiar with the scores you need to get in each area.
  5. i have forgotten how to send posts or responses to one person. can someone tell me how to do that?
  6. hey ky and weirdangel. I am also looking to start in the Spring. where are you guys located?
  7. yes thats correct. there is a thread to answer all your questions i think its called ISU part 1
  8. That's true and I hope it doesn't end up being that way for her.
  9. I agree with you for the most part, but I think nerdtonurse's main concern is that her instructor was not there..at all.. even if she was not supposed to be placed in that situation her instructor is her voice to say the student nurse needs to step out. And when you are in a clinical setting you never know what type of condition your pt. will change to, thats apart of getting clinical experience. I'm glad she thought fast and stood by her pt. because she did what was right by getting the hospital staff involved, her staying around to help was a good idea as well.
  10. Can anyone further along in the program help me with this scenario? I am wondering if I wanted to take Nurs 208 along with clinicals 200 and 226 is this what the program allows? Another way of looking at it is if I took Nurs 318,322 and 324 in one semester do you think that would be okay? What I am trying to get an understanding of, so I can plan my classes in advance, is how the instructors of the program are allowing students to take the nursing courses and clinicals. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Tina
  11. I know she wasn't directing it to me totally, I was just responding to her note.
  12. Adnerbe its not that I am trying to hurry thru the program, I am trying to get all of my ducks in a row and this speech class was basically an oversight. Eventhough the csm's are thru college network I just completed the same ones thru excelsior college and I just chose to go thru ISU because of the changes that keep occurring in GA with the BON and excelsior. If I would have followed my first mind about this program I would be finishing up with chaxanmom by now I'm sure. So Im not rushing just making sure I get the chance to get started without having to wait any longer.
  13. How did you get your exception? I wonder why they won't at least let us take the class in the summer semester.
  14. Thanks for the quick response. I know you guys can do it. And that Comm class is hanging over my head I have to find a clep class or something because I must get in the Fall start of the program. Thanks again.
  15. hello all, Chaxanmom can you tell me how were your last classes slated? For instance the lpn-bsn track brochure shows Nurs 324,424, and 450 in a row, is that how they must be taken (in order)? And do they allow you to take two courses that has a clinical component to it at the same time?
