  1. Hi! im glad to read that some nurses are still scrubbing I'm a foreign educated nurse and my experince was mostly scrubbing because I LOVED IT. Now after I got my RN lic here I'm only allow to circulate in my institution and I need to change. Where are you all allow to scrub or where else do you know of nurses scrubbing? Thanks
  2. please don't give up! i know exactly how you feel. i also failed several times, i still cant believe i passed after spending one year trying. i am a foreign educated nurse, so just there you are ahead of many test takers. this are some of the things that worked for me. - i took time off. i took 2 to 3 weeks no studying at all. i put out books and everything, and tried to relax. - then i made a plan. designed detailed a schedule including, eat, sleep, exercise, family time, study and work. all others where on hold, some people couldn't understand this. you know how much you can study in one day, i knew that after 5 hours my brain was everywhere but present. - i had to remind myself that the ultimate goal of this plan was to pass, i was so used to failing i couldn't believe i was going to pass. - the first 2 times i studied for the exam i used kaplan. i still know the q bank by heart. then i used hurst review, i went to the live session but due to the fact that english is my second language i missed some details so i went ahead and bought the complementary online videos. - i listened to this videos at least 9 times each. simultaneously i made brand new study notes, this time very visual tons of colors and drawings. at the end i had more than a 100 pages. - i will sound stupid but i stated doing visualization techniques. i honestly thought it was impossible for me to pass so i had to work on convincing myself. don't give up! you can do it
