Hi everyone, Can anyone suggest some good easy listening/contmporary cd's to play in the doctors office? We have a sound system that plays in the exam rooms and waiting rooms and i am having touble finding any good music! What does everyone play in thier office?

Was wondering if a RN with no certification in anesthesia, can administer tumescent anesthesia for lipo if trained by the physician. I am unsure if this is within the scope of practice of a RN in NJ and unable to find any info on the BON website. Any info is appreciated:)

Hi, I was was recently offered a job supervsing medical assistants in a Dr's office. I am a RN. I was wondering if anyone else has done this and if anyone know what types of tasks MAs can perform with nursing supervison and what needs a MD's supervsion ect. Everything I found online was pretty vague....Thanks:)

CAn anyone tell me about them? What is a typical day like, what type of med issues are most common, how does salary differ from hospitals and LTCs? I am a new RN and was curious if this wopuld be a good place for experience...

Wow thanks for all the quick replies! Sounds to me like its probably not the best shift for me to pick up because my other job is also in healthcare ( psychiatric case worker) and i really can't be late often! Thanks for the info everone:)

Hi , i was wondering for those of you that work in a hospital, does your shift really end when it is scheduled to? For example if you work 7a - 3p do you really leave at 3pm? or is it closer it 3:30 -4?. Trying to figure out if i would be able to work 7-3 and make it to my other job, which is 30 minutes away by 4. I have never worked in a hospital before so i was wondering. THanks!

I heard that the salary starts around $30 an hour....was wondering if you applied and got a call back from them? I applied a few weeks ago and heard nothing yet:(
