  1. Same thing happened to me today after filling out an online application for a staff nurse position. The form could not be submitted unless I signed off on a credit check. I called the hospital recruiter who explained it was for positions that dealt with finances, and was part of the online process, not for staff nurse positions. But I did ok the inquiry, so they have the options of checking. And every time someone checks your credit score, that process makes it go lower. Catch-22
  2. Thanks for the reply. Regarding "Suzanne's Plan", I am assuming that the plan is individualized and time intensive for "Suzanne". Now that it is not available everyone wants to do it. I appreciate the uniqueness of the plan and wondered if there was a broad overview of the steps involved that would not compromise that uniqueness? I am doing the first step, using the Saunders 4th Edition Comprehensive Review and doing chapter quizes where I score approximately 70%. I have been out of nursing for over 20 years and not sure how I should interpret these scores. Any thoughts or advice is welcome.
  3. Hi, I am a re-entry RN taking the NCLEX at the end of the month. When I read the posts that state how many questions and the type of questions I often see the letters SATA. What does that mean? And can anyone tell me what the second step was in "Suzanne's Plan"? Thanks
