  1. Same here. The school is said to be very good and has a wonderful reputation. That's why it was my first choice. Well, they do give you options on funding your education. One of them being applying for a Pell Grant (https://fafsa.ed.gov/). Aside from that you have the option to pay your tuition monthly, which is around $450. Also, they have scholarships, which I'm told are given to those who excel during the program as opposed to previous academic achievements, but I'm not entirely sure. Hope that help. Take care. - Johnnie
  2. Hi, sorry for the late response. I didn't get an email letting me know that there were responses to my forum question so I never bothered to look until today. Did you get your letter? I got mine on the 13th of July. I hope you made it. If so I look forward to being classmates. Take care. Johnnie
  3. Just wanted to find out if anyone else got their acceptance letter from Mercy School of Nursing.
  4. Thanks, same to you. I'm also waiting for the interview. I was told my score is good and I have good references, so I'm hoping that will help me get in.
  5. It was hard but not to bad. The test did not feel like the NLN practice tests I had done so well on, but it is easy enough to get the required score if you studied the book. I had such a bad experience though. Because I had eaten a light lunch that morning, I wanted to make sure I wasn't going to feel hungry during the test, so I bought an orange juice downstairs, which turned out to be bad. OMG, I was so sick during the first two portions of the test (verbal/reading and Math) that I could not retain any information after reading passages. So sick, that I had to guess on more than a few. I threw up at the start of the Science test, and felt so much better that it was the section I scored best on. Anyway, I passed and will be getting an application soon. If you are accepted, will you be attending in August '09 or Jan '10?
  6. Hi Mayte. Well, I just found out that I'm to late to sign up to take it . The lady I spoke to today said to call in March to see if I could take it but I'm not sure what that means. Do you know how that works? I've done so much studying already.
  7. I'm also going to be taking the test in March! My main concern is science. But now that I know the scoring, I'm a bit more at ease. I'd also like to get feed back about the interview as I've never been good at them, lol.
