Hi! There! Hurst is helpful in a way it will help you understand things better. And thru practicing their Q&A's it will make you more confident in answering questions. Review your answers. And add to your hurst the prioritization, delegation and assessment book by la charity and answer at least 50-100 per day. You will definitely get that RN next to your name. :) good luck!

Well hello!! 10/31/2012 I was just browsing thru google about employment here in Florida for RN's and for some weird reason it brought me here. It's funny reading my post and comments from people about my struggle in passing my nclex-RN examination. Well, by the way I passed last November 2011 I am now a Registered Nurse and after a few weeks I got employed in an acute rehab center/convalescent hospital in california and worked there for 10 months. I love my job and my co-workers are awesome. Since I am an RN I am always a charge nurse and encharge of all the staff during night shifts.. It was a roller-coaster ride at the beginning because everything was new to me, people around me are just being so nice and supportive. Until I felt more confident and people started to compliment me and all. It was an amazing feeling, until I have to quit coz my husband decided to move closer to his family. It's hard to leave the place your starting to love, the job u never felt your working. But family is more important, so now I am looking for a an employment here in florida and hopefully I get hired as soon as possible. :) To all nclex test taker out there, don't ever give up! it took me 3 times to pass my nclex, it will only make u realize: the more u work hard for it, the more you'll appreciate it. Study with your heart and mind, and believe in yourself! :)

Oh my GOODNESS! I just found today at the California Board of nursing my name and my license number, it's only 3:45 am here and this thing is not putting me to sleep very well since my exam. I am one of those who testify the Pearson vue trick is pretty accurate! Thank you LORD for this blessing. And for everyone out here congrats! And Goodluck on your nursing careers! And for who didn't made it yet, time will come.. Just continue praying and study very hard.

Hi there exhausted21! I took my exam last Monday nov. 7, and I also got the good pop up thing that says "the candidate has previously passed this exam, a new schedule cannot be made" me too has hesitations when I got it, but since this is my third try and the previous ones put me through the credit card page this made me scream and hopped! The adrenaline just rushed into me, thinking all the handwork has paid off.. But after that, I suddenly just realize..- if this is for real? I still have to see it for me to believe I really passed this exam! I also tried checking the BON website,But they haven't updated it since 5th of November. I hope this PVT is seriously real.

Hi guys, I am a graduate from the Philippines as well. I am glad that I found this thread coz I've been wanting to meet people who I can share my thoughts with.. :) Well, this would be my 3rd attempt in taking NCLEX, I graduated 2007, uhm thats like 4 years ago! yes. and still trying to be successful.. I am a mom of a 2 year old child and I tell you here in the states it's not easy being a full time mom and a housewife.. The last time I took Nclex was 2 months ago, I spent 5.5 hrs in the testing center, answered the max number of questions(265) and failed! ugh! I really thought I had it. Oh well. I then actually started taking things easy and hit the books harder, I am using La charity, Saunder's 5th ed. and I am currently enrolled in an online review (HURST).-I can't tell you any reviews about it yet, but so far it's quite good. I am planning to take anytime this Sept. or Oct.

Congrats never stop smiling.. I've been out of track from my study plan coz of some important family matter, and to be honest I lost hope, strength, courage and confidence to go back and study.. Been really so down, but while reading your posts made me feel somehow that there's a rainbow after the rain. I can't afford to fail this time. I just don't know how and where to start..

Hi to all NCLEX test takers, I'd like to form a study group where we could share our thoughts and insights about this Examination. As we all know, this is like the most important examination we need to pass, and I know we are having the same feelings towards this examination, for everyone out there, feel free to message and post anything you have in mind.. Anyhoo, I failed Nclex twice already, it took me some time to cope and go back to study mode.. So I registered to an online review for the first time(Hurst) - I just hope it is worth every penny.. I I am planning to take it again end week of July or Early week of August, Still waiting for my ATT.

You know that feeling where there's a point in your life where the world is on you and you just wanna give up! I have recollected myself and accepted the reality.. Someone told me---there's no easy way up.. Those people who are successful didn't jusT became successful overnight.. Time and challenges makes us a better person and I know GOD is just preparing me and molding me to become a best nurse there will be.. Anyways,I got the maximum number of questions(265) for 5.5hrs, I got 2 above passing rate, one from the pharmacology and drug calculations and the other one from risk management, 2 below and the rest near passing.. I know I'm close to getting my precious license.. I just gotta have to push more... I don't have any friends who I can share my thoughts with.. So maybe I might enroll myself to an online review.. I know it's very expensive, I just hope it's worth the risk.. Anyone of you can share to me which is worth the money? I am choosing between the hurst online review or Kaplan?

I just got my official results today, ;( I failed again for the second time! Damn this is too much of a failure. I don't even wanna open up my books again. I felt like I have given my all and still it's not enough!! Plus when I checked the CA BON, they raised the fee from $75 to $150! Helpppppp

Hi guys, I just had my exam yesterday at 8:00am, and I am so mentally drained.. I finished the 265 Q's for 5 and a half hour!!!! The most horrible, exhausting day of my Life. I don't know what to say, to be honest I am a little bit frustrated, I am trying not to try the trick but that's the only way That could relieve from all the anxiety and sanity I am feeling for the past 20 hours. Been waking up from time to time thinking, damn I know I deffinitely know these things but it's so frustrating you didnt even bother to understand and make time to familiarize and understand. The PVT put me to the credit card page which is a sign of failure. Ugh! Been crying and crying from this moment. I failed those people who trusted in me. You know the feeling that your almost there but you can't reach it!! Omy.. I am going to blow up! I don't really know what to say, I am just venting out my feelings of dismay.. I know I am almost there, I just have to give it all next time.. I am going to reapply as soon as I receive the official result and and take it earliest possible..

I am using the same material as yours, but right now I am using Saunders, and alternate it with the NclexRN3500 that someone gave me here in this site. My friend also recommend me the 4000? -in relation to that, is it the same thing as the 3500? I did the La charity a month ago, and planning to review it again this week, but for some strange reason I couldn't find it.. I hope I didn't lose it.. I would also like to share that we need to do some form of exercise everyday coz our brain needs oxygen everytime(for me, I go to the gym) and eat a balance diet..

OMG. Me too... I thought its only me.. As my exam date is getting closer, My scores are dropping and I thought OMG, this is not a good sign and thinking to move my exam date again.. And sometimes it makes me so frustrated that makes me got too lazy do all these practice questions.. This whole thing is my everything and I cant afford to fail this again. By the way what material are u using for your practice questions?

hi there, yup I tried doing it again this morning and IT WORKED! yey! haha.. My laptop is just maybe acting up last night, I like the site so far. I have the la charity book as well, and yeah my score at first is just within 50-65%, ugh! Sometimes It is even better to get alot of mistakes coz it gives you a reality check that hey you need to use your critical thinking skills.. but eventually as I was going through all the questions I am somewhat confident to say that I am getting better.. Esp with the delegation and prioritization which cover 20-30% in the real NCLEX-RN exam. My exam date will be in 2 weeks, gee.. So I am doing as much Questions everyday.. What about you? when is your BIG day? :) Hope we all pass and fulfill our dreams and goals in LIFE.

I need a bit of encouragement and advices from all of you (it's really hard to study all by your self without anyone to talk to and to share your thoughts to) I was gonna take my Nclex Rn exam last month but I havta move it coz I can tell I am not 100% ready and confident to take it again for the second time. I have to make sure when I face that exam again, I am gonna PASS! :) I wanna know how everybody is doing? Coz lately I've been out of track with my study plan coz I did some important matter.. And been so lazy to study all these things all over again. I did the Saunder's 5th Edition, Kaplan 2010-2011, and the Lacharity, and also if I'm too lazy to open up a book, I do practice questions using the Iphone App that i purchased for $2.99. :) it is somewhat a cool application coz I could practice and at the same time watch TV or take care of my kiddo.. HEY EVERYONE, I JUST WANNA SHARE MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE PEARSON VUE TRICK-BAD POP UP THING. I took the NCLEX-RN examination last Nov. 22, and stopped at 76Q, got alot of SATA and medications, and 1 and drag and drop and the rest i forgot.. 6 hrs after, I tried doing the famous PV trick and got the bad up(credit-card page), i cried coz I know from there, I failed. But you know there's still like a very tiny hope that tells me, "Oh maybe theres an exemption", after recieving my results today from the BON, yes I'm convinced that PV trick is accurate. I'm posting this to let u guys know that atleast, you wont get crazy every single minute that passes by waiting for the result especially in CA which will take you 2-4 weeks to wait. So yeah, I need to try it the 2nd time, PRAY and STUDY much harder.. I know I will become a Registered Nurse soon..

I don't have my candidate performance yet, I just took the exam yesterday nov. 22 and they said it will take 2weeks before I get my results. But I'm certain that I failed it coz no one in this site ever mentioned that they have a bad pop up but they passed. Yes that's the spirit right there, there are some that took them 3 or more times to pass the exam. We can do this, GOD will give this to us coz we've been wanting this, he's just making us more efficient and be more knowledgable to be an effective nurses! :) smile. Yup, it's my first time. I graduated 3 years ago, coz after that I got married and became a mom of a healthy baby boy who is one year old now. I know the feeling of failing the first time coz way back in the Philippines it also took me twice to pass my local licensure exam. I admire you guys for uplifting my spirits and I know u guys can be an effective nurses coz right now u are dealing with a depressed client and u just know how to make us feel better with your therapeutic thoughts. I know it's not the end of the world. My computer shut off at 76. And tried checking the PVT, but It showed me the credit card page with my name and address. So it's positive that I failed it.
