Perinatal Nursing Skills Fair
Hi all. I want to conduct a Perinatal Skills Fair and am having trouble coming up with new topics (surveying the staff has not helped). We have covered preeclampsia, hemorrhages, etc. over and over again; does anyone have any new ideas or suggestions? An escape room, perhaps?

Can an NP be a CNS in CA
Elkpark, As stated by another person, the curriculum for NP's and CNS' is basically the same. NP's take a National Certification exam; if they are not qualified for the CNS certification, this will reflect on their exam score. To say "they don't qualify" is a bit presumptive

Can an NP be a CNS in CA
I saw that need for verification of the 5 roles. That is the avenue I was going to take to apply....have any NP's had success with their CNS application?

Can an NP be a CNS in CA
Hi all. I am a certified FNP in California and am considering becoming a CNS. I looked at the BRN's website and the requirements needed to be able to sit for the CNS certification exam, but it is still unclear to me if CNS and NP education is interchangeable. It is nearly impossible to speak someone live and the $500 application fee is non-refundable. Has anyone had any success getting certified in both Advanced Practice roles?

NEED TRAINING
Hello, all. I am an RN and new FNP seeking training in injectables, lasers, skin care, etc. in the Bay Area. I know some doctors are willing to train, but most are not so I am hoping for some referrals to courses that will make me more desirable to future employers. I have taken a Palette course, but need more intensive training. Thanks!

NP..worth the tuition cost?
Hi all. I am a NICU RN in the Bay Area (California) and have been considering going back to get my Master's Degree/NP specializing in Women's Health. Several people are advising me against it since they feel the salary for an NP is comparable to an RN; thus, not worth getting in debt for. I have done the salary research online, but am coming up with a HUGE range of salaries. I realize the benefits of a higher education, but monetarily speaking, is it worth it? I need guidance!!
