  1. congratulations to those who passed!! [color=deepskyblue]2bnursehotflash, i ended up trying the pearson vue trick...i got the good pop up..we'll see if it works tomorrow morning...you know, i still feel like i didn't pass but at least it calmed me down a little... i think i've come to the conclusion that the nclex isn't really an exam to test your knowledge (b/c nothing i studied came out on the exam!) but it's actually a conspiracy to make you study everything you learned in nursing school once and for all hehehehe :)
  2. i took the nclex-rn today...and i really think i failed...im too scared to try this pearsonvue trick...so i thought i'd come and perhaps get some support from strangers bonded in nursing? :) .....im so nervous...i really think i failed...cut me off at 75 questions...i totally guessed throughout the exam...i got so many drug questions for drugs i had never heard of...................man, im getting sad all over again...
  3. Hi! I'm a current student at JHUSON for the 2nd degree program. I don't have any kids..but I'll tell you a lot of what's helping me get through the program is my husband. He does a lot if not all of the cooking, cleaning, etc. I know a lot of other students in this program are married and/or have children. They are all managing great! If you contact the school, and ask for Shari Lynn..she is my advisor and also a graduate of the accel program. She was married, had children, and she'll tell you her experience of the program. The good thing is, it's only 13.5 months...once you start, it'll be over sooner than you know. Re: clinicals...they aren't all at Hopkins. Most clinical rotations are throughout hospitals in Baltimore inc. Mercy, Franklin Square, Union Memorial, Bayview, Hopkins, GBMC, Howard County, Sinai. No GPA minimum...they look at the whole person. Call..staff are incredibly kind! Hope this helps!
