First time, NCLEX-RN, 265 questions, FAILED
I am sorry to hear that you did not pass. I took the exam recently and am am CERTAIN that I failed. I am going to keep my chin up and move forward with Suzanne's plan. I got somewhere around 120 questions before it shut off, and I left the testing center KNOWING I failed. I kept getting questions about stuff I wasn't very familiar with, and felt like everything I have studied for months wasn't even covered. I went to a great nursing school where all of my classmates so far have passed, and I am just so worried about how embarrassing it will be for me to fail.

Failed the NCLEX-RN with 75 Qs (and I feel ridiculously stupid)
Stay positive! Stick with your plan it sounds like a good one. Some of my past classmates swear by Kaplan. Good luck to you. You will be a nurse. Believe in yourself.

Stress? How does 28 years later ...and FINALLY sitting for the NCLEX sound?
I am sure that you did fine.

Things you would love to say to your fellow nursing students!
If you don't want to be here to learn please go home so I can!

Flash Cards?
Hello, While in A&P class I found the Anatomy Coloring Book very helpful. I was able to find one at the local Barnes and Noble or Borders. I would also recommend taking pictures of the models in class if you can. Good Luck, :wink2:

I have to pass nclex-rn
I am very sorry to hear about your family illness. I will be taking the NCLEX for the first time in February and have found that staying positive about it is the key. I am trying to study 2-4 hours a day with my regular full time job. I will never expect to know everything but trust that it will be enough. The Saunders book has some helpful hints about studying for the test. See if those will work for you too. Good Luck and keep your chin up. :)
