  1. I too had to shave my son's head. Best and easiest, but if that isn't an option maybe try the mineral oil used to treat cradle cap. Its thick and would smother the little suckers. As for combing out the nits, condition should be enough. That's how my mom handled it when I was a kid and I had hair to my rear.
  2. I don't know about where you are but around here if you have completed your first semester in nursing school most hospitals will hire you as a nurse tech. A lot of my classmates quit thier other jobs and took jobs as techs or nurse aides after their basic care semester was over.
  3. I know its not much help but how about smiling or sticking out their tongue?
  4. with the shortage of clinical spots and QUALIFIED INSTRUCTORS, I was lucky to get in on my first try. I had a 3.9 though. I have friends that had 3.8 gpa's and are still waiting. Apply to more than one school!!!! Good luck.
  5. I hope this helps. I went to school to be a CMA 12 years ago. Ended up being a bar tender for lack of jobs and pay. I am now in my last year of nursing school with a much brighter outlook for the future. Good luck in whatever you decide.
  6. Aren't we brilliant at timing things. I too had a baby in nursing school. I had to take a semester off. My tip to you is focus on you and the baby. School is 2nd. Finding a job 3rd. You won't be good to anyone if you don't remember to take care of you. Good luck!
