Least favorite subject?
I hated statistics, too. But chemistry isn't one of my favorites either... blehhhhhhch. :uhoh21:

If you could get your Master's Degree...What would you get it in?
Art History. My Art History professor in college was my idol. She was an incredible person....and had the most exciting life. :)

Why do you come to All Nurses?
I work in a cubicle and hope to start nursing school next Spring. I come here to dream... OK...that sounds cheesy. I just enjoy reading the honest statements from people that will REALLY let me know what I am about to get myself into. AND it's addictive and a break from databases. UGH.

Prereqs 7 years ago
Thanks everyone for all the help. I have looked into schools in my area and so far I am fine at all of them with the timeframe that I have. I am so excited to even think about starting back to school! But scared of course too.....It is out of my comfort zone (which we all hate to leave). I just want to do the best that I can!

Prereqs 7 years ago
Hi everyone! I am new to the site. I am a 28 year old corporate drone right now....I haven't started nursing school yet, but I plan to next year. I have been reading strings all week.... you sound like a fun and interesting bunch! I am happy be here... I have a question for all of you student nurses. I started out in college wanting to be a nurse and finised up all my prereqs in 1996. I got accepted to nursing school, but at the time was a youngin' and working a 40 hour a week job at night. So I decided on a BA in English instead knowing I could not dedicate myself to such a load. Fast forward to now....I am stuck in a corporate job that I loathe and am planning to attend nursing school next year as I made a horrible mistake in missing my true calling. Getting to my question....With all of my prereqs so far in the past (A & P, biol, chem....) will I have a hard time in school with those subjects not being so fresh on my mind anymore? Comments...complaints. Thanks! I look forward to hearing from everyone.
