most people pass up being a cna and go onto bigger things (which is fine). But its always good to know where you came from, cna's are the core essential to LTC facilities, and being a male is definiteley a plus. Good luck

i sudgest taking it at ROP in Anaheim,Ca the instructors pretty much walk you through the hands on skills portion and there very fast with their results. You can schedule an appointment for the next exam at Golden West College. Only downfall is that youll end up paying $90 for it, and dont even think about missing your sceduled date lol. you and the rest of the nursing world have robably left a class saying the same thing to themselves, theres quite a big similarity to military boot camp and nursing school if you think about it. Outside of the physical aspect, its like the last class an instructor has to take is ***** 101. Try to be a fly on the wall and annunciate when talking lol ..good luck
