  1. ok so i was a bit nervous about this trick....but i tried it a week after my test date dec 29th 2009....and then another week after that....i kept gettin the pop up twice.....and i got my results yesterday jan 22nd 2010.....and well.....I PASSSSSED....woot...i believe it now...makes perfect sense....good luck to everyone else waiting...now another 3-4 weeks for my actual license card....this was for the lvn/lpn and i took all 205 questions. done in caliufornia...yay im a super nurse woot
  2. i dont get the results until 2 weeks frm now...rememeber it takes about 3-4 wks...but crossing my fingers and still praying
  3. i maybe on a late reply to this but i graduated from concorde in august and recently took my nclex for the vn license.....you'll like the school, its very home like. the teachers are great dont let them intimidate you, their really their to help. i doubted that in the beginning, but their only hard on you so that you can pick up the skills...i actually miss going to school. so far passing rate is really high. so you made a good decision...only thing i didnt like was the financial part and how much the actual class cost. other then that make sure you pay attention and dont slack off cuz it will catch up to you in the end/.... good luck
  4. i aslo took my test the same day as you, omg i was so scared...half way through the first hour i was feeling pretty tired my exam was at 8 am and im pregnant 8mnths...my test stopped at 205 but im staying positive cause anything can happen...so stay positive and just enjoy new years...because next year...we're all gonna be great nurses...
  5. i took my pn test on the 29th also, and well i took the whole test as well..all 205...just waiting for my results...pretty scared cuz the exam was hard...but im keeping positive...results are based on the 4 categories being graded...analysis, comprehension, teaching, and one other one....so everyone basically has 50 -50 chance...im still praying im the one of the 50 that passed...so far half of my class passed and each one stopped at a different random number..so keep your head up and happy new year...
  6. oh sorry...i wasnt clear...she just had the hysterectomy ...so this is post op care....i also was going to do ineffective coping but she didnt show problems or grief about her hysterectomy...
  7. so far i have and idea of what nandas to put, its te interventions for one of the nandas that i need help with... my patient is 50yr old female, admitted with fibroid uterus and went through a hysterectomy. i need 3 more nandas. But my question is ...CAN SOME ONE HELPE ME WITH INTERVENTIONS FOR RISK FOR BLEEDING for this patient? rememeber: 50yr old female hx:htn, admitted for hysterectomy and fibroid uterus. PLEASE HELP
  8. i go to concorde in garden grove, ca...and the admin reps are nice....they pool alot of strings to get people in....ive been in the lvn program now for about 4 months...and its going great...despite the the high price of more than 30k....teachers here are great and helpful....i heard from a friend that is it the lvn program acc...that he learns less than what we have learned, he doesnt do enough hands on, and less care plans for patient's which might i add is very important for patient care....well hope i helped...good luck
  9. im in the lvn program at concorde in garden grove, ca...its an ok school...teachers are great most of the time...if your in to the fast pace work and test everyweek plus 630am clinicals. ..then you should try it....
  10. personally Kaplan would be a waste of moeny....1st: their courses are not creditable....2nd: kaplan use to be Meric college.. and meric college was not that great of a school (my dad took the rn classes....and well lets just say it didnt work out....more on the schools part)..and to tell you the truth...you would have to challenge the rn testing for kaplan.... if they put you in PCAT...dont take it...because basicaly PCAT is classes to be a CNA...and thats a fat waste of money and time....your better off doing lvn and continuing to rn...but KAPLAN is not a great school....if you already have had experience in nursing and have already taken most of your basic classes like a&p, micro, eng, math....then let me tell you ..your just paying to start those classes over....if your moving to san diego for a good amount of time..i would say you should not take a vocational school....if thats your only choice, look for another school other than KAPLAN....my better choice would be NATIONAL UNIVERSITY....that were i will be planning to go after lvn school this year... their option are completely better...
  11. thank you guys...the thing is...im attending lvn programs at a technical school but have had experiences with cna work and skills and theory that qualify as cna classes....i just need to be able to take the test....and where is the pdf?
  12. ITS MORE MEMORIZING THEN ANYTHING....KNW YOUR STEPS AND HOW TO UNDERSTAND THE PATIENT..AND YOU'LL BE FINE....hands on experience is way better than lecture/theory....you'll be fine, just keep in mind that some older ladies dont like having a male cna, preference wise, their not comfortable with it....so its good to ask before dealing with your patient. good luck.
  13. im a student in the lvn program...and wanted to take the cna state exam here in california...LA area.. but i cant seem to find a place to do so. I just wanted to start working to gain more experience and to help pay for lvn school....can any one help me...WHERE CAN I TAKE THE CNA STATE TEST IN LA, CALIFORNIA? (WITHOUT HAVING TO TAKE A CNA PROGRAM)
