  1. I'm at the Augusta campus. This semester we have 4 classes and 2 are online.
  2. Hi I'm a current CNL student. I applied for early admission last year and I heard back in November. My interview was the beginning of December and I received my acceptance letter right before Christmas. Good luck to you, this is a great program :-)
  3. Thank you so much kjones for all thar info!! I'm so relieved to know we can use a calculator, lol!!
  4. I have another question too for kjones or any current CNL student. When you take the dosage calculation tests can you use a calculator? I really need to brush up on my long division!!
  5. kjones....do you know if we have to get a laptop or is a home computer okay?
  6. I think it's set to private or secret maybe. If you can't find it I think if you friend one of us we can add you to the group. You are welcome to look me up on FB, my name is Louise Heberlein.
  7. I found you but for some reason it wouldn't let me send you a friend request...I sent you a message to your 'other' FB folder :-)
  8. Yes I'd love to join :-). Let me go see if I can find you.....
  9. So I wonder if the uniform will be totally changing then? I believe that it was blue before right? As long as it isn't white ill be fine, lol! I was thinking about getting something like this... Amazon.com: ASUS VivoBook X202E-DH31T 11.6-Inch Touch Laptop: Computers & Accessories.
  10. I've started reviewing some of my A&P because its been a while since I took those classes. If anyone in Augusta wants to me up for coffee and a review study session let me know :-) I think I'm going to hold off on the CPR class right now, I'm sure they will offer one on campus over the Summer.
  11. Congratulations!! Looks like we will be classmates :-)
  12. I will. Right now we've been looking at the small Asus touch screen laptops. Oh I looked at the school calendar too and it looks like they start Fall registration at the beginning of June....not sure if that's for the CNL program or not but hopefully if it is we will get some more info next month :-)
  13. Yes same here! I'm so anxious to start getting more information about all the things we need to get...I want to go shopping darn it, lol!! My hubby is having a fun time researching laptops for me though :-)
  14. Hopefully you guys will all get your letters by the end of the week...I'm pretty sure it only took a couple of days once my status changed to get that acceptance letter. Dang, I just checked mine online and it says main campus and I've been accepted for the Augusta campus....so yes I would assume Augusta but it will say for sure on your acceptance letter.
  15. Hmmm, do you ever volunteer? Maybe at your church or at your children's school?
  16. Oh and just an FYI for those that are applying for a FAFSA student loan...I guess the deadline for the priority FAFSA was April 1st. I just did mine today and hoping I haven't left it too late. Just wanted to pass that on in case you guys haven't filed yet and want to.
  17. Congratulations srhewatt!! :-)
  18. I think it was $100. You had to send it in within 2 weeks of receiving the admissions letter to secure your place.
  19. I'm not sure what people got in this round of acceptance emails but I can tell you what I got in my acceptance letter back in December. It was basically just a congratulations letter and it stated that I would be starting this Fall at the Augusta campus. I had to fill in some information and mail back a deposit. It then had a website with an orientation video and a paper checklist of all the things that needed to be done like vaccinations, student loans, setting up a school email. Since then I haven't heard anything about CPR classes, uniforms, books, etc. I did receive an email last week about applying for on-campus housing. I called admissions and asked about when we would get more information and she said that after April 1st we could call student services I think and they set-up orientations this summer. I'm not sure how accurate that is though because I always seem to get conflicting information there depending on who I talk to. I'm curious if anyone who just got accepted got more information about CPR classes, uniforms, etc.
  20. Army wife here too :-). I start nursing school this Fall and we already know that DH will PCS next year and I will stay here with the kids until I graduate. It sucks and I'm not looking forward to him leaving but I have to do this and he is 100% supportive which helps. I think my biggest fear about him leaving is that I'll lose all my support. We don't have family anywhere close to us and I know nursing school is going to be tough. I wonder what I'll do if the kids get sick and I have clinicals, etc.
  21. I already live here in Augusta....in Evans actually.
  22. Yay!! Congratulations you guys xx. It's nice to know there are other people starting this Fall :-). Did anyone else get into the Augusta campus?
  23. http://www.georgiahealth.edu/orientation/ Hope that helps :-)
  24. Congratulations to everyone who got accepted I'm starting the CNL program this Fall but I'm assuming its the same orientation video. You can find it on the GRU website too. It basically just goes over the things you need to get done before school starts like student loans, immunization, getting your email set-up, etc.
  25. Oh I heard something about the new uniforms too. Hopefully we'll hear something in May or June...that would be my guess. Yes good luck smcswain!! :-)
