I have been searching on this site for entering the field of cosmetic/plastic surgery, I have gathered some really great info. but still feel not complete on where to begin. I have just graduated in Dec. and I am preparing for NCLEX. I have been an esthetician for 5 years now, working in a spa/salon. I have always wanted to bridge into med spa, plastic surgery office but I am not sure how to go about this. So my question is: Where should I start off in the hospital to get the best training to lead me down that path? I have been wanting to do L&D and have read that alot of nurses who have worked in L&D are attracted or work in plastic sx. now or have. So where does one start? Should I go and apply at plastic sx. offices here in town? Thanks tons for any help in getting the ball rolling Amber

go to the pearson vue website, on the main page they have a tutorial that takes you through the exam. Knowing what to expect is powerful. Go to the testing center before hand. And BELIEVE
