Hi ejnairobi, Looks like we'll be classmates this year at La Inter. I can tell you that I was able to find a small 1 bdrm apartment in the Ocean Park neighborhood for $550 a month; I realize that I will be spending alot of time in traffic but I wanted to live near the beach. I found the apartment on clasificadosonline.com and I was able to link up with a really great realtor who took pictures and video of the apartment or me. But even if I hadn't found this before hand, I was told that it wouldn't be hard to find a place.

Question for WorldTravelingYogi and/or Designer Mommy, is there a workout facility on campus? This isn't a deal breaker but it would be really nice to have.

Is there anyway to get your ADN, take the necessary test for Puerto Rico then work as an ADN while continuing in the BSN program?

My BA is in Japanese Studies but I haven't spoken in 10years so I've lost alot of the language. My intention was to go into international marketing but I soon lost the passion for the field and never made it past marketing assistant. Now I want to give something back. WorldTravelingYogi, do you have a yoga studio membership there? I mentioned in one of my earlier post (in July I think) on this thread that I've seen a daily yoga class on the beach in Condado but I don't know the studio. I just joined a studio here in New York and I want to continue to the practice when I get there.

WorldTravelingYogi, meeting up sounds like a great idea; I will let you and Designer-Mommy know when I arrive. I am also applying to the accelerated program so I would love to pick your brain about the good, bad and the ugly of the program. Now I'm really getting excited!

Thank you for the calendar, I reserved my usual spot in Santurce from April 13 to April 20 so I will visit the campus on the 13th or 14th to make sure they have everything from me. I was planning to do my final move on July 1; if orientation is in May, do you think they would do a second one like they did before classes last August? Designer-Mommy, I sent you a PM...hope you don't mind and I apologize for not making a formal introduction. I'm applying to Interamericana's August 2011 session and I'm planning to make a visit to the campus in March or April to make sure that they have everything that they need from me. Can anyone tell me if the school has a break during March or April? I usually visit San Juan in the summer when school isn't in session and I don't want to make that mistake this time. I also haven't been able to talk with anyone in the nursing department this time, can anyone recommend a contact or "E" to help facilitate the application process? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
