At orientation you get the class list and the book list so you can start pricing them out. You register for your program. You all take lectures together as a program and the only choice you get to make is the location and days of clinicals. First semester is pretty much set. Check the website and see the course code like nur2011 to find out what the first semester classes are. You can then go on mdc.edu/current students and check to see what the schedule would be like. After you are cleared at orientation or whenever they feel like it you will be able to register. Bring COPIES of all the stuff they ask for and the health records with you because before you graduate they WILL lose it. All my classmates are graduating so you can PM if you want some contacts to buy used uniforms, lab coats, books, supplies, etc.

YES. Recorder will save your life. Ipad/computer if you want to type things or look at powerpoints.

Hello Everyone, It seems like just yesterday I was stalking this site trying to figure out what was going on with being accepted to MDC. Well I got in and now I am in my last 6 weeks! I have learned so much and it has been a great (at times) experience. MANY MANY days/nights of no sleep, learning chinese (aka nursing), and lots of laughs. Some professors and situations you can avoid and others no. Lots of books to buy and pretend to read and remember. I can tell you everything you want to know or that I know. Hit me up! Well not before July 2! We have an exit exam to get the **** out of nursing school! Hang in there. If you dont get in apply again and again until you do!

In addition, what is the score that FAU is looking for? How much importance do they place on the test score?
