  1. I do agree with you!! It depends on the person.:redpinkhe
  2. For profit schools are expensive!!! If you are going to school on the campus you will be fine. As far as getting into the schools-just study many have materials for you to study or a link to a website. I attend ITT Tech and the entrance exam was not easy but not hard. You have to do what is best for you.:)
  3. So far their is nothing wrong with ITT TECH. I attend the school and I like the school. It was designed for students that are tired of being on nursing schools waiting list and who need to continue to work while in school. I suggest that you go to a seminar at itt tech and see for yourself. People need to believe have of what they see and none of what they hear!! Therefore, many will have their own opinion but you have to see for yourself!! Its your money and your future.:)
  4. The program at ITT just started, so lets just see what happens, everyone can assume anything but no one really knows what the outcome is going to be with the transfer credits. As a student at ITT Tech we have inquired about transfer credits-who knows if all is well they may start a BSN program!
  5. I am over 35 years of age and I am in nursing school. I have teenagers. They were small kids when I started taking my pre req classes. You have to have motivation and determination. You have to think of you and your kids and how you want your future to be.
  6. They will accept general transfer classes. That will save you money on your tuition. All of my GE classes transfered and it saved me almost 12,000.
  7. Im glad its working out for me too. I guess everybodies entitle to their own opinions.
  8. I just wish people would lay off the school, the nursing program may improve the schools reputation. I went to a different nursing program in the past and I really see no difference. The only difference is Itt is not as aggressive. For the moment, I am able to work, spend time with the kids and still bring home A's. Once the first class graduate it will be different.
  9. I do attend the program and I like it. You should give it a try. They do give you a lot of resourses and help.
  10. LSN is a very aggressive nursing program. It is an excellent program and you will learn what you need to learn with a lot of hard work and no life for yourself. You have to be determine and motivated with no outside distraction. It is very fast pace and challenging. You will be going to school 5 days a week in the beginning. If you prefer a slower pace program don't look at LSN!!!!
  11. Ok what do you think Rn's do? Thier work is technical.
  12. I agree with LewisPCT!!!! Great program- people need to give the school a chance. No one has graduated from the program as of Yet so the numbers are not known. The passing rate of the NClex will tell it all!!!
  13. :nurse:How can people say that Itt tech is not a good nursing program are how can companies say that they would not hire a nurse from the school when they have no graduates yet!!!!. Its a new program and they have to start from somewhere. They have a lot put into the program. People need to just give them a change. I go to the school and I love the program. The school was design for students tired of being on the waiting list of other nursing schools and so that people who need to work and go to school may do so. Until the numbers are in with the first graduating class and how many passes the boards...........lay up people!!!!
