  1. Just completing my first semester in nursing school. Review math skills for Dosage and Calculations, also review Fluid & Electrolytes. These subjects were very difficult for me to grasp for the nursing aspect(I am 45 years old). I also don't want to burst your bubble but the first thing our instructors said, you can kiss your A's goodbye. Take time to enjoy your freedom because once nursing school starts you have none. Between studying for test and care plans you have no freedom.
  2. I definetly feel your pain. Good CNA's are hard to find and when you do get one they become burned out quickly. I began doing CNA work on weekends while I attend nursing school during the week. $8.00 and hour ,12 hour shifts anywhere from 16-32 residents. Wanting to do the best you can for each patient, but knowing that you can't . Family members wanting their loved ones placed in top priority status(rightfully so), complaints to nurses because Mom did not have her foot on her wheelchair, it doesn't matter that you are doing post mortem care on the resident down the hall.LTC consist of individuals pretending like they are able to do all the work required and are reprimanded when they are unable to do so.
  3. First time threader!! I am having problems locating nursing interventions for Compromised Human Dignity. This is for my last care plan of this semester. I will also need "resource page numbers" The books that we are using do not have very much information for this Nanda diagnosis. Any help or web site would be greatly appreciated
