  1. I havent done kaplan in over a year so im not sure what they consider a passing score, look into that and if you are not hitting a passing score i suggest u push ur test back at least a week or two to allow urself more study time. I am taking boards for 5th time on wednesday october 21st and when i did kaplan my first time testing i had low 50 test scores and bombed on nclex with 76 questions. So please go with your gut, u will never feel 100% ready but if u are not comfy with ur scores i highly suggest u push ur date back so u dont risk losing ur job and the money u paid to test. Good luck i will be praying for you
  2. Thank u to everyone who posted on my post, i appreciate the prayers, guidance and kind words. I will continue to pray on it and working with my instructor.
  3. everyone keeps talking about PVT... what is that, and where do u do the quick results for 8dollars? ill be testing next wednesday for the 5th time so ill be anxious to get my results
  4. I was curious if anyone can give me some insight or guidance. I will be testing next week for the 5th time, and please keep in mind that 3 out of 4 of my previous tests i got the full 265 questions, everyone tells me i was right on the borderline is this true? I have done kaplan (not helpful at all) private tutoring, saunders book, ati, some online nclex study made by the board... ive done it all. What should i do now and keep from fearing failure? I am currently working with ati instructor taking practice tests and passing 80% of them. Any insight would be much appreciated, i am 6.5 months pregnant so im praying this will be my last time testing!
  5. Everyone keeps talking about "susannes plan" What is that? Please share with me what it is and where to find it... im preparing for my boards for the 4th time and im looking for any advice i can get. thanks in advance
  6. Keep your chin up sweetie... I feel your pain i have tested 3 times and still not successful so im in the same boat as you. I did learning ext.com twice and noticed the amount of questions i got increased. The first time i tested after doing kaplan i only got 76 questions where as after i did learningext.com i got 265 on 2nd test then 260 on third... keep us all posted im considering kaplan tutoring but not sure. I was told by a kaplan instructor to get the lippincott Q&A review for nclex-rn so far it seems to be passing level questions but im only on number 7... good luck and dont ever give up!
  7. :uhoh3:If anyone can give me suggestions that would be great. I recently took my NCLEX-RN boards for the 3rd time and was unsuccessful getting 260 questions. I took kaplan before my first test and bombed it, i didnt find it to be helpful, now they are offering private tutoring at the cost of $500.00 for 5 hours... WOW thats alot of money. Im not sure what to do, i cannot afford that however i cant afford to fail boards again either... has anyone done the tutoring and what are your suggestions. I have completed kaplan, learning ext.com, ati books and just recently purchased a lippincott book... help me im drowning here...
