  1. Hi Thank you for the response I have been told different things some say you take take a math test at the end. I am just wondering if its the entire HESI exam or just math. I have never taken it before only the TEAS. I guess i will ind out sooner than later
  2. Thanks I kinda figured that just wanted to make sure i wasn't crazy
  3. Does anyone know if you have to take the Hesi at the beginning of every semester at Charity. I hope not but I overheard it the other day and wanted to see if this is true.
  4. Thanks for the info, where are you getting the titers run I was going to go to the Innovative place in New Orleans unless something is closer to Metairie area
  5. Not yet I am trying to find a cheaper place to get the vaccs done, they are expensive without insurance. Anybody have any suggestions besides the ones that they gave us at the meeting.
  6. No not yet still waiting also
  7. It could be the case or you didnt receive it in the mail i would call just to check I turned mine in on May 12 directly to the office to make sure they got it processed by May 20th.
  8. You should have gotten something by now for 2012 because letters for acceptance were due on May 20th you can call the office of admissions and they will tell you whats going on.
  9. RN2b12 I also have applied more than a few times to charity and just recently got accepted for Spring 2012 because i was also on the pull up list for the fall of 11'. Did you get a letter yet and your grades are good enough for them my profile was 65 you are not far behind. Your TEas score was good and should have given you some extra points. Good luck with everything the admissions coordinator at Charity is very nice and helped me determine where I needed the points and how to get them.
  10. Just got my acceptance letter also can't wait to start this adventure and meet everyone along the way. Congrats to everyone who was accepted.:)
  11. Congrats :)
  12. From the numbers on the latest profile sheet for 2012 I had between a 60-65
  13. I called last week and was also accepted didn't want to spoil the news for anyone else yet but I am so excited and nervous at the same time. Good luck to everyone
  14. I spoke with someone about a week ago and she said about two weeks so it should be the start of next week hopefully that they go out.
  15. My score was 65 so I am assuming that it was between 55-60 to start thats what it was last semester.
  16. Called Charity today to check on some paperwork that was turned in and letters willl be out in 2 weeks they said.Good luck to everyone can't wait:)
  17. I have been calling to try and make sure that my TEAS scores were received can't seem to get in touch with anyone. I brought them into the office to make sure they got them but you never know papers can get lost so thats awesome if you got in. Hope to get good news as well.Good luck
  18. I had to do something and instead of retaking courses that i received b's or c's in I decided to retake the TEAS that was the only way to raise my score without waiting another year or two and taking more courses that I don't need like I have been doing the past few semesters. I had to make the decision and I hope it pays off in a few weeks.
  19. What would determine the difference if they raise the cut off or lower it ? I guess it depends on how many high profiles they have not really sure how they determine it.I hope it is somewhere between 55-65 because i have a 65 since retaking the TEAS. Hope the letters come sooner than later.
  20. I read on another post that it is supposed to be the HESI but I am not for sure. Is that supposed to be easier?
  21. Thats why I went in Feb to retake the TEAS and scored higher so now my profile score is a 65 and i could make the cutoff which i still hope is 55. Good luck to those also reapplying. The wait takes forever
  22. Thanks i will ask when that time comes
  23. Where is the medical insurance from just wondering because I currently do not have any and was wondering where and how much it would cost before I start next year.
  24. Thank you good luck and best wishes to you too.
  25. Thanks for the advice I just hate the fact that I am putting so much pressure on my family I know its worth it in the end but it takes a toll on you. I did okay in A&P 1 and 2 with b's and c's so I understand what your saying I took too many hours along with those courses and it kicked my butt. I hope to start learning more of the style they use in nursing school and will refresh on a&p. I have taken med term and med term advance passed with A's in both. I am going to take the pharmacology they offer at delgado to help me the first semester. I know it will be difficult so I will be preparing for the next 10 months to get a head start. Thanks for all the insight.
