  1. Well, I just 'sat here and watched this thread grow' lol, but, as with several others I learned some new things. I'm pretty new to this bb, but I enjoy this kind of dialogue! Like everyone's attitude!
  2. That's something that I just don't understand, either. I work prn in various depts, and of course each one thinks theirs is the busiest, they get dumped on more, etc. I can truly say, I have yet to find a 'cake job' in nursing. I find that every dept I work in is extremely busy and verrrrry stressful. I work in the outpt surgery dept, m/s, endo, behavioral, and on a good day get to have lunch, but as for breaks? forget that! I just wish that we all could realize that we all work hard (except for the lazy ones, as someone mentioned above).
  3. I love being a nurse and making a difference in my patient's lives. Today a patents family member said 'all the nurses here are so nice, I've never heard of a mean nurse here". That made me feel really proud of our facility and all my co-workers!
