I received a TO order from the Dr nurse to "hang NS at 250" on a pt. So I hung NS at 250/hr. I went home that night and was off the next day. I got a call on my day off from my manager saying the Dr flipped out because he wanted "a one time 250 bolus of NS" ... I even did a read back on the phone and they ok'ed it ... Not really my fault but the Dr and Nurse sure tried to make me feel like it was... I gave heparin IVP and not SQ ... I turned off a hep drip because the pt was going to a 2d echo and the pump would not fit on the wheelchair poll. All the pt are fine, but I felt like crap after each of these!

For me CRNA is also the goal, but who knows... I have to get that BSN first!

24. there are 7 guys in my class that is about 31 strong (we started with 40 and we are going into sem 3)
