  1. congratz! after pearsonvue removed the on hold result did u tried checking pvt again? was the pop up good/bad?
  2. hi, did u pass??
  3. hi guys, i graduated year 2005 in the phils, immigrated last 2008. i took cali nclex rn 3x (2008,2009,nov 2012) but failed. i reapplied dec 2012 & send additional requirements (cases) & by sept 2013 i received the letter from brn that i need to retake ms/ob, febuary 2014 i send a letter of reconsideration to my analys back then (*******) but i never received a response from her. it's difficult to get into the program as everyone here are all aware about that & at the same time financial matters is also an issue. i passed my lvn recently january 2016 & i'm working for kaiser hospital as cna equivalent. the 3yrs window to complete the said defficiency will expire next month, i called brn & i was told that as long as it's not yet expired i can reapply & pay the $150 fee & they will give me extension for another 3yrs which i followed the instructions and i also wrote a letter of reconsideration (waiting for the response) & i also found out that i have a new analyst (**********. i heard a lot of stories with people applied from the beginning (getting all the school requirements from the start) & some aren't lucky to get approve & some got even worst outcome having them redo the whole nursing program. i'm very anxious while waiting for ****** response
  4. Hi everyone & nurse joy, I would really appreciate if you guys will give me information about the school in Texas that accepts IEN, i need to re-take my MS & OB as well and gathering all the options that i can get. my email add is [email protected] Thank u so much
  5. hi, what year did u graduate & are u from the philippines?
  6. i answered the maximum 205 questions in 5hrs, i had a lot of SATA questions & prioritization, there's delegations & 3 calculation. i tried to be calm throughout the test. before the test i only had over a month experience working in the hospital here in the US as a Patient Care Technician=CNA (totally different from my experience back in the philippines), i also used to work as a med assistant (basically medication passer/aid) in assisted living facility for 5yrs
  7. i'm not us citizen yet, still permanent resident. i didn't got the chance to review/study at all, but i believe my experience working in the hospital helped me a lot in when i was taking the test
  8. thank u. bvnpt didn't required me to take toefl, i had my BSN degree from the Philippines & i took the nclex pn here in california.
  9. i think that depends on who's ur analyst???
  10. yes, all you can do is follow up & wait for the letter stating u are approve/eligible to take the test & follow instruction to pay for pearsonveu, once done paying $200 for pearsonvue that's the time u will receive authorization to take the test (att) via email & u can schedule ur test. i took my test 12/01/15, i answered maximum 205 question in 5hrs, i did pearsonvue trick everyday (i was so anxious) & always had a good pop-out, received my official result that i passed by 12/18/15 via mail, send back signed document & check $150 by 12/22/15 & finally received my license card by 01/08/16.
  11. hi, we're on the same boat. i just passed my nclex pn but still want to persue my dream to be a RN here in california. i applied & received my eligibility from NY but haven't taken the test yet, my husband don't want to move out of state. finding a university is difficult here in bay area, & tution fee is very expensive, i also don't drive. i felt i devastated when BON denied my retake application. i wish there was an exemption, like example: the concurrent wasn't applied to those who applied & already had received eligibility before they started implementing it, or as long as it's bot fraud. what's ur plan now?
  12. hi guys, I graduated 2005 (BSN) in the Philippines. i migrated year 2008, same year i applied for cali nclex rn & i got my eligibility, took the test & failed. i applied for retake & took the test 2012 & failed again. last 2013 i reapplied again & i asked to submit my cases which i did & received a letter stating that i need to retake my MS & OB expiration date to complete sept 13, 2016. i felt devastated, i felt that it was unfair & if i passed my 1st or 2nd exam then i don't need to go through all of this. i'm even having hard time looking for a school that will accept me & on top of that, the school that are available is on the east bay area (i don't drive), i am also the bread winner of the family... i heard recently that CaBon approves more applicants now despite of inconcurrent cases/classes & that *********** (CaBon International analyst) is no longer working/retired that's why most applicants have been approved. one of my friend told me to let it expire & redo the application from the start. what's the best thing to do?? thanks guys
  13. hi, i am a BSN graduate from foreign country, when i submitted all the applications/requirements for ca nclex pn, i waited 7mos-8mos before i got my eligibility. i also called several times in between which made me wait for 1-2hrs just to talked to somebody, the explanation was... they received my application but because of too many applicants i need to wait for my turn to be evaluated & they will tell u what date are they evaluating so far & then u will have idea how long u need to wait. try to call just to ff up on it
  14. hi, i took nclex pn for california last 12/01/15 & i tried pvt using my iphone (i had a good pop-out), received my official result 12/18/15 i passed & submitted $150 payment for the license card including signed result back to board of lvn 12/22/15. finally, i received my licensed card 01/08/15. good luck to u guys
