Did you find a roomate yet? Where are you from and what unit do you work in? I am considering going to the convention as I am a new grad RN trying to get into a postpartum/L&D/NICU unit in California or anywhere for that matter. Do you think it would be beneficial for me to attend this in terms of networking and scouting opportunities?

To aspiring2bNP: What city/hospital were you hired into? I've been out of school almost 9 months looking for a new grad mother/baby position and still no luck (I live in the bay area). Thank you!

I'm starting a thread for those who have been accepted into the Sac ABSN program beginning in January. Congratulations everyone! I sent in the initial $350 tuition fee last week and went up to Davis/Sac yesterday in search of housing. I was really set on living in Davis since I went there as an undergraduate, but now I'm realizing that the commute will be tedious not to mention a waste of time and gas. So.... I checked out a couple places close to the school off of West El Camino and they actually seem pretty nice. After reading some online reviews it seems like The Regatta is one of the best. I may be looking for a roomate since I cannot afford over $1000/month for a one bedroom! Have you guys thought about where you'd like to live? The Adagio seems nice too. Checked out Larkspur Woods but there was a sign out front that warned us of cancer causing chemicals inside... not sure what that was all about. Looking forward to meeting you all. Tricia
