what to do next???
i got my license 6 moths ago and after two weeks i got hired at a subacute rehab nursing center. I LOVE MY JOB. i love the people who works with me. im really happy. but ive always wanted to work in a hospital. i know i need more experience as this is what hospitals require. my question is...what else can i do? what other options do i have as a post grad? other than being a nurse practitioner what else can i specialize in? how about a clinical instructor? what are the requirements? im still young and im really excited to venture on my career. im 21 and an RN BSN. please help me and guide me to the right direction. thank you :)

Warning to New Grads
i feel your pain...im a new grad too...working at sub acute, rehab and LTC facility...we have alot in common about your job description...hard to be an RN...its really draining...but my advice to you is you just have to suck it up...nobody said that being an RN would be easy...or glamorous...it hard work...being new grads doesnt make us "babies" in the work area...imagine those people who works there for the longest time...be thankful that you have a job...and just think of it as experience for the next one you'll have...hopefully a better one...its a tough job...but we can do it :)

what's the fastest way to get nclex result if your from CA?
i took the exam on october 15...i havent seen my name when i checked online but im thinking its because i havent submitted my ss# yet so i faxed it yesterday to the board of nursing. there's no quick results here in CA so im getting a bit anxious. i answered 265 question, 6 SATA and 1 calculation...i felt good after the exam...like i was relieved that finally im done studying...then i realized that if i fail i have to do it all over again...i really want to know the results asap..any advice?
