  1. Hi futurecalinurse! I can relate. I'm having a hard time getting a job. I have applied to Broward hospitals and hospitals in Ft. Myers/Naples. I have not one interview yet! This is very frustrating. I don't know if there is a hiring freeze or the economy is bad. Most I applied for wanted experience and i just got my RN license a month ago. Im going to the Career fair in ft. Lauderdale in Nov. So hopefully i will get something. You should go. That way you are ahead of the game when its comes to finding a job. Good luck. Any advice from anyone?
  2. Marcibz Thanks for responding. How is the pay and staff there in lee memorial? Have you heard anything about the residency program? have you heard about a hospital called leighigh medical? I just want to make sure that im making the right choice in choosing a hospital on that side of town.
  3. Hi everyone, im a new RN from Ft. Lauderdale and was planing to move to Ft. Myers. I was reading about the Residency Program that Lee had...no bonus/ 2 year contract and i think it was a 6 week program. I heard not so good things about that hospital but love the ft. myers atmosphere. People who work there or had work there what is it like in those hospitals? Is it worth it? How is the pay and the nurse to pt. ratio? And how about naples?
