NELRP 2011 awardees
Hey guys, I didn't get a deposit yet this month. I received in on September 26th last month, but I didn't get it today, Oct. 27th. I'm worried because it's late. Are we receiving a deposit this month? Is anyone else's late? Thanks!

I am enrolled in the UCLA class too, but I haven't looked into the book yet. I will probably just try to find it online or at the library. I'll keep you posted. For someone who has taken or registered for the Barstow Pharmacology class, are there prerequisites? I am admitted to the university and I gues if there are no prereqs for the class, then I don't have to send transcripts. I didn't see any prereqs on the website, but I just wanted to make sure. Does anyone know? Thanks!

SFSU Communication Prerequisite
Yeah. I spoke to someone in the program and they said definitely public speaking. There's an accelerated class and the local college, so I'll just do that. What a pain though. Which CSUs did you apply to? I'm applying to Northridge and SFSU. I talked to admissions at Northridge and they said there's 300+ applicants to 18 spots. Crazy. Congratulations on being an alternate.

SFSU Communication Prerequisite
Does anyone know if the Oral Communication/Speech prerequisite for SFSU includes Interpersonal Communication? I took Interpersonal Comm at Merritt College in Oakland and now I'm wondering if it qualifies as Oral Comm for SFSU's MSN program. Does anyone know? Thanks.

I just registered for the UCLA class. I spent all day looking at this stuff and I think that's the best options. Thanks so much to SFChef for suggesting it. No, I have not been admitted and submitted my app a couple days late for the Nov 1 deadline so I may not get in for April. I'm not overly excited about Sam Merritt in general, but it will allow me to stay in the Bay Area. I figure by April I should hear from most of the schools I applied to, so I just want to have the possible option of staying in SF.

Sacramento City, Yuba, Moorpark, and Santa Barbara all go until late May Arkansas goes until May 12 Middle Tennessee goes until May 9 Columbus is over $800 Nebraska is $1000 This is ridiculous.

I just looked at SBCC. Their classes go until May 23 so that's not an option for me. I need mine done by April 24. I'll let you know if I find anything.

Wow, awesome. Thank you so much. I just applied. That saved me some money. Thanks!! Anyone know anything about pathophysiology? I think I'll just go down the list of suggested schools from Samuel Merritt.

University of San Francisco Spring 2009
Thanks for your replies. Yes, it will pay off eventually. I just carry such a heavy load from undergrad that my main goal is not to acquire too much more. Best of luck to you guys! Maybe I'll see you at USF!

I applied to Samuel Merritt's BSN program for April and May 2009. Do you guys know the cheapest route to fulfill the pharmacology and pathophysiology prereqs by April? I think it would have to be a self-directed program, not a semester long program because most do not end until late May. I looked at Indiana and Iowa State, but they're very expensive. Any suggestions? Thank you!

University of San Francisco Spring 2009
Hi there, I just applied to USF's MSN-CNL for Spring 2009. Is this the same program you applied to? I applied last minute because I didn't even know the program existed. In the event that I do get in, I'm not totally convinced that the program is worth it. Am I correct in my math that it is $67,000? Do you think that a RN with a Masters will be eligible for a higher salary or more likely to find a job than an BSN RN? Just curious as to why you applied to the program. Thanks.

GPA and Acceptance
Hi there, I'm applying to accelerated BSN programs and the more I read on this forum, the more I'm worried about acceptance. I'd like to keep the number of schools I apply to to a minimum for financial reasons, but I need to get in somewhere. If someone could give me an opinion on my stats, I'd really appreciate it. I have a low GPA 3.27, from the Univerisity of Notre Dame. I have a 4.0 in all my prerequisites and I have volunteered at a clinic for over a year. My choices in order of importance are Oregon Health and Science University, Linfield College in Oregon, Califorina State University-Northridge, San Francsico State University, and Samuel Merritt College. Does anyone have stats for acceptance into OHSU or Linfield? Will my GPA keep me out? Thanks.
