  1. I hate to hear you are in this situation, but at least you are aware that you are at a bad place in your career. My advice to you is to make a change as soon as you can, leave the unit, or the hospital for that matter. It sounds like you are constantly being put into unsafe situations, protect yourself, your license, and patients by changing lanes. With all the experience you have you should be able to get a job that fits your current needs. I wish you all the luck and success and will pray for you and your institution. Good luck and God bless!
  2. Hi, I will graduate tomorrow with my associates degree, and I interviewed and was hired for the cardiac thoracic ICU at Scott & White Memorial Hospital today. Scott & White is a level 1 trauma center, and a teaching hospital located in Temple Texas. They offer fellowship programs for experienced nurses so check out the website. Also if you are interested in PICU or NICU we just opened up our children's hospital and I'm sure they still need more nurses over there. Good luck on your quest!!!
  3. Hello all, I am studying for a pharmacology test on monday and i came across a question that ask what to teach about diarrhea and constipation while on diuretics, i can't find anything specific in my textbook, i assume that we would have the patient notify us of these because they can imply that there is something wrong with the fluid levels, but again i can't find anything, can someone please shine some light on this for me. thanks
