HeadRN I agree with you. Could you believe I am still hoping that they call me? Also I completed 4 of my clinical practicum at Emory. Its crazy over there for now.

Hello Limelight, The person handling the recruiting for the new grad program is the ONLY person that you can talk to. There was another person, but when I called and asked for him I was told that he no longer works there. So it seems like, the recruiter is left on her own to review apps and decide on interviews, when I spoke to her she told me she had 500 apps for 46 slots. So I can imagine that her cup runneth over. I recieved an email saying that I meet the minimum qualifications for the program and that I will recieve a email correspondence but still...nothing. Its almost March 19th and still many have questions. At least let us know if we didn't make it. That's how I feel.

Hey all, I was just wondering if anyone heard back from HR about an inteview. I am still waiting.

You're right we just have to wait and see. One was a reference form and the other some type of data form. What is your next option if I may ask?

Hello HeadRN, I read that on here and have never recieved one either, I also spoke to the HR person and was also asked where I would be interested to go, I thought that conversation went well, so I was forwarded a few forms to fill out. I did that and I havent heard back since. Its a grueling waiting game. I completed many of my clinical rotations there also but I am not sure what they are really going by. Its a waiting game and with March 19th drawing so near its a nerve racking, waiting game. Good luck though.

Hello like some of you I am patiently awaiting an interview. I spoke to HR and was told that I was under consideration and that was just a week ago. I didn't get the email that said that they were done with their selection and when I check my status its gone now. I once saw where it said I was under consideration, but now nothing comes up. It simply says that I have no job submissions. Crazy huh. I am just going to sit and waiit and pray that I at the least get an interview.

Wow! most of us made it! This is great! I can not wait to meet you all. Congrats again, its been a long time waiting. Now we can celebrate! no more checking emails, now am going to check the mail for my packet.

Thank you so much for that bit of information, it helps a lot. I drove myself batty just wondering about what the hold up could be. I guess we waited this long what's another week, right? So does this mean that I should check my email starting Wednesday? LOL.

Thank you, it is a sad issue going on over there. It brought tears to my eyes and continues to do so. We just have to count our blessings that we are here and alive. I wish so badly that I was a nurse during the past few days. I would have gone to Haiti definately. I am praying for us both.

Man no news yet, with all this bad news going around it would be nice to get some good news. I am no longer driving myself crazy, but I am still anxious as am sure you are too. Please remember to keep Haiti in your prayers.

Well we're in January, so if anything this month is the month. I am trying not to stress. I am praying that I am in. I will keep you in my prayers as well. Hopefully we will know something soon. Like rn2bnwi said there are still more interviews, so maybe in two weeks or so we should know something. I too have been working as a CNA for about 2 years now. All we can do is pray and wait.

hello purex1301, I am highly considering attending IOUN. I would love to have some questions answered at your availability of course. I am a mother of two and is married. My husband told me today that he would move there with me. I am very excited to hear that. I am a second degree older student I look forward to the lifestyle change. getting in a school here in the states is crazy!!!! for a profession that has a shortage they really make it hard to get in this is why my family and I are making this move. Have you seen families move out there and do the nursing program?

Hello rn2bnwi, I know that you are busy with school and I am happy that you were offered a second chance. I applied for the October Cohort and know that everyone has already been accepted. Now it's either am on the waiting list or not accepted at all, I haven't checked the mail yet :) but if I am not accepted can you advise me on what to do differently next time around? What did you do? If I got this far as to get a phone interview then there must be something about me thats right, right? Any input you can offer is greatly appreciated. For those who has been accepted what is the deadline to reserve your spot? Bluelle - You are right this is not a firm denial letter. I would be ok with being on the wait-list. Congratulations anyway. Being on the waiting list is better than not being in at all.

Hey Bluelle, did you hear anything yet? the wait is killing me. I am so tempted to call and just ask if am in or not, but I realize that I should just wait. I have a question. is it that those who are accepted gets an email and letter? or do you also get an email if not accepted? Hearing that others has already gotten a reply in terms of acceptance has got me a bit nervous. Again good luck to all who is in this waiting game. no matter what we wont give up!

I am in the same situation here. I have become obessed with checking emails. I am going through a tough time in my life, my grandmother is well.....I am not sure what she is. She is on a Ventilator in a coma, it doesn't look too good but we are praying. I sure could use some good news. I also had my interview June 5th. I am also waiting. Now I am trying to wrap my head around the fact that I may have not made it in. I will be okay. God never gives you what you can't handle. I thank you all for all the positive stories, it has given me hope. If not this cohort the next. I hear that they are trying to start one in February. Does anyone know which email you are contacted at? meaning would it be the school's email or your personal email. This is for those who ever recieved an acceptance/denial by email from uwosh.
