I just want to say that I've been job hunting for about 5 weeks and still have not received any offers for employment. I must say that alot of hospitals are on a hiring freeze!! -RN, BSN

I pray that you did well and will be able to celebrate this holiday season with no worries! Don't worry about not getting those type of questions. When I took the test the second time around I got 265 questions with none of those type of questions either..... I PASSED! Have faith and trust God!

Thanks for replying. Honestly, I can't afford to buy anything right now. My car note is only $200/month which is certainly not too bad. Finding a roommate isn't such a bad idea but I'm under a 12 month lease in a 1b/1b apartment.

I'm drowning in bills and student loans!!! I'm desperately looking for a part time job but no one is hiring. I'm looking at anything from pizza hut to target. I'm super stressed out and making by to pay rent, car note, insurance, bills, student loans and the list goes on and on. I only have about 5 months experience as a RN. Any suggestions?

After mentioning to a few recruiters that I was previously in a new grad program, they have showed their disinterest in me because I "wasted" the time and money that my previous employer put in me. I pray that I find something soon.

Thanks for the responses. I'm holding tight. However, the tranfer is not a guarantee, they are only seeing what they can do. In the meantime I'm trying to find babysitting jobs to take care of rent and bills!

I have recently resigned from my new grad internship because I felt that it was not a good fit for me. I was told that I would be transferred to a different unit and almost two weeks has passed and I have been getting the run a round from unit managers and nurse recruitment. I am now trying to look elsewhere for a position and have been told that because I was in a new grad program before alot of other hospitals will not take me. I am considering removing my 3 months work exerience in the new grad program that I was previously in so that I can get a job. Any suggestions? I'm stressed out!

Hi, I am very much interested in joining the Army Nurse Corps. I recently, passed NCLEX and was doing a new grad program, but resigned. I spoke with a recruiter today, but still wanted to speak with anyone personally who went throught this program as a new grad. What was your experience like? Expectations? Support systems? How did you feel throughout your officer trainer and as anew grad on the floor? I feel as though this is a good opportunity for me, however, I want as much "heads up" and feedback that I can possiblyget from anyone who has gone this route before. Thank you! All I can recommend is that she applied to job that has a new grad internship program. Not sure what healthcare organizations are in her area. But maybe she can try applying to hopspitals, nursing homes, clinics, doctor offices, etc. Get some experience until she can move on up after her first year. Hope this helps.

Just saw your post and your probably already sleeping. But before boards I went to the spa and got a full body massage! It was awesome. Best thing is to do is pray and talk to God. Relax, sleep well, and surround yourself with positive vibes until you get to the testing center. May God bless you.

Pray. Trust God. Have faith. The first time I took NCLEX I had 155 questions and left testing site like I didn't know anything. I retested and had 265. After I reached question 76, I spoke with God and told Him that I am going to put my trust in Him to bring me through this exam successfully. I pledged to God to give me 265 questions if He will allow me to pass. After I left the testing site, I gave my thanks to God for allowing me to pass and went to the salon to get my hair done. :)

Yes, I am very much scared to death annd scared of losing my license. I've been reading alot of threads that suggest getting out before it's too late. Basically going into insurance or something that pay more and is less stressful.
