I am in the same boat, regretting classes I took more than 10 years ago. My BSN gpa is 2.84. There has to be a solution for us. not everyone makes 4.0 straight through college without a few bumps in the road, experience has to come into play somewhere. Good Luck to you!

Has anyone heard anything? The wait is driving me crazy. Acceptance packets are due back July 15th! That doesn't give us much time, if we are lucky enough to get accepted!

Applied for the same program. No word yet either way, this is driving ne crazy. I am hoping we hear this week.

I applied to the MSN Family Psych program. I think we should hear in the next two weeks. I didn't get a call either, althougth I didn't expect one, just an envelope in the mail is what I thought. Let me know, if you know something different. This waiting is driving me crazy, just hoping for the best.

Does anyone know when letters will be mailed? This is killing me! The website says 6 weeks from the deadline, which is getting pretty close. Also does anyone know how many they accept? Total number? Or do they accept a certain number for each specialty?

We will hear for fall applications for USA in a week? I thought it was close to month away?

I have applied to USA's Psych NP program for this fall. Do they look at your GPA overall or your last 60 credit hours like some others?

I am looking for an online family psych program. I know about South Alabama but have heard mixed reviews. Does anyone know of another program or have some insight about USA?

I didn't know what I wanted to be in my 20's. A nurse yes, but that was it. I think my career experiences and a little maturity led me to where I needed to be. If this specialty is calling you, don't let yourself wonder what if! I am going back to school for NP in mental health. Im probably a few years older, age was never a consideration.. just doing what I love. Good luck to you and let us know what you decide.

Does anyone have any suggestions or tips on how to study for this test? Which studyguide, book to buy or any general info to pass along? I have been in psych for the past 5 years and would like to take the test in the next few months.
