Yes, this was a final. You cant proceed on without a score of 90 on your test, and this is just weeks into the course. Since our school figures you cant really harm someone with a 10% mistake with their meds, you have to make 90 to pass. 89 you fail. The reason I did not answer the question is because during review she told us, I will put a lot of info in the questions but that does not mean you use it. Take what you only need for your dosage calculations. The question had 2 parts to it. I answered them because there were blanks for them. The 3rd part was just a question about insulin. And because I did answer the third part, that counted as 3 mistakes. This was a dosage calculation test. During tests you are not allowed to ask the teacher any questions. 2 students got up and approached her and they were told to sit back down.

I failed my Nur 104 test. We could miss 3 questions and still have an A. Great! So when my instructor informed me I failed I was in shock. Now here comes the kicker. She left off an answer blank off of the answer sheet she provided, which made me miss 4 questions. Yes, there was an obvious question there, but with no answer blank, what was I to do. Read her mind. I have been to the DON at my school, and I have been to her boss. NO ONE WILL HELP ME. I have now failed the course, and all the advice they give me is to reapply and start over in Aug 09. WHAT! If noone at the school will help where should I go for help. It is to late for me now in this program, but this is not the way to run a program. I feel so cheap and used.

Hey, What did you decide? I am in the night nursing program. It is a total disgrace. The Nur 104 class got so angry with the teacher they chased her down the hall into her office, screaming at her for NOT teaching them. It is a teach yourself program. This same teacher gave me an incorrect answer blank for test, I used it, ended up with wrong answers on my test. NO ONE will help me !!!!!!!
