  1. Hey it will get better, i'm new at this too. My husband also works at an LTC and he says you just have to prioritize your time and that it will start to get easier once you get familiar with the place and the patients.
  2. I'm a new grad and have gone to find that its shunned upon and i need experience to get hired. But here's the thing....how can i get experience if no one will teach me. Anyways, does anyone know of a place near West Covina, CA where they hire new grads i need your help guys:crying2:
  3. Hey everyone I PASSED! I thought for sure i failed when i walked out of the testing center. Thank all of you who responded to my cries for help and support:heartbeat. Now i have to find a job. The only time i want to experience that again is when i sit for my RN. Again thank all of you:nuke:.
  4. I'm sorry you didn't pass. I know what you mean about hard to study with kids. I have a two year old boy who is just go go go all day long. Put the girls to sleep early and study, study on your lunch break. Or if you have to like i did ask favors from your friends or family, they will understand. I have a friend who has 8 kids can you believe it! She passed the NCLEX. So i know you can do it and pray like theres no tomorrow. You will be a nurse soon:nurse:
  5. My aunt works there and i don't think they do perdiem, i can ask her but as far as i know your either part time or full time. Its hard to get in because pay and benefits are good no one wants to leave. I'll find out for you:wink2:
  6. I'm a new LVN and was interested in trying home health. I have a two year old boy and thats a handfull already. I want a career but i also want to be with my son. Can anyone give me advice on this career move and if they know of any agencies in west covina, CA.

  8. I hear it can take up to 4-6 weeks in California we are both in the same situation waiting for the snail mail of California. My mother-n-law is from Manila. Are you planning to move back down to California?
  9. i used the saunders Q&A, kaplan, exam cram and my notes from my lectures in class. I don't know if i passed or not either i took my exam on sept. 29th. Also read suzannes plan on the sticky section, it helps alot. Good luck!
  10. I took my exam on Sept. 29th and it has been a terrible two and a half weeks. I'm expecting to get my results the first week of November since i live in the wonderful state of California:banghead: I don't think i have ever been this anxious or nervous this long in my life. Is anyone else out there frustrated? Please vent with me:D.
  11. one of my classmates took hers on sep. 3rd and barely got notice yesterday that she passed. i called the boards and they said they are behind because alot of people graduated in June. Good luck and let us all know the results:wink2:

  13. Hey, i know exactly how you feel i took mine on the 29th and i cried all the way home swearing up and down i failed. i think mine shut off at 85 or 86 don't remember. its kinda like a blur. I wish you the best, you will be in my prayers. Just stay positive, go pamper yourself you deserve it.

    Took the test on sep. 29th. OMG! it was horrible, dont' remember if it turned off at 86 or 87. Got alot of SATA's, pharm, infection control and prioritizing. Whats weird is that i didn't get any math questions, what does that mean? Someone help! any feedback or advice would help alot:no:
