Dear All I am confused on ATT. My understanding is after I send out my application to Minnesota BON. They will make their decisions on my case. If I am approved for the test, they will make Personvue release my ATT. ATT has a range of 11 weeks. That means I have to schedule my test during this period??? For example, if I send out my application at the beginning of the Nov, BON got approved at the beginning of the Dec, i.e. Dec 8, 2008 and Personvue release my ATT on Dec 8, 2008. Plus 11 weeks then my ATT should be from Dec 8,2008 to Jan 25, 2008??? But my plan is to take test in Mar,2008. How to extend my ATT to Mar, 2008 or I have to take test in ATT??? Could I schedule my ATT by myself? Many thanks! Best Regards Kitty

Hello redheadnurse Thank you to share your example. Therefore it is not important to choose which state for registeration at the first time, right? If transfer to other state, only reapply and pay some money and don't need re-take any other exam. Thanks! Kitty

Hello tobby Sorry, maybe I didn't state it very clear. It will take a long while for the approval in CA for NCLEX. Therefore I want to apply in Minnesoda. I heard that it will only take one month. But my question is if I submit my applcation for licensure examination to Minnesoda and pass the NCLEX, Can I find job in other state? If I need to retake NCLEX or other exam when I transfer to other state. In Canada, answer is no except Montreal. But I am not sure what is the policy in USA. Many thanks! Kitty

Hello Silver I am so wondering since there is no requirement on transcripts in the application form of Minnesoda. That means the school does not need to send out the transcript. I am afraid that the school will not send out the transcript in terms of the education verification form. Thanks! Kitty

Don't worry. The pass rate is ok. I took CRNE 2 years ago! My suggestion is you can prepare NCLEX during this period. Good luck!

Hello mardibc Did you submit your transcript to the Minnesota Nursing Board? I didn't see the transcript is required in the application. There are three forms I need complete. 1. Registered nurse licensure by examination application (complete this by my self) 2. Confirmation of program completion for licensure by examination (I need make school to fill this form) 3. Verification of licensure (I need send this form to where issure my RN-licence) 4. Fee 5. Evidence that you have not engaged in conduct warranting disciplinary action. Therefore I need send out (3), in my application package there are only 1,2,4,5. Is that correct? Many thanks

Hello mardibc Many thanks! So we can send our application to Minnesota's board directly. And then we need register the NCLEX and write it. After passing NCLEX, we need apply visa screen certificate from CGFNs. With visa screen and job offer, we can apply the TN. Is that correct? Good luck for your test! Best Regards Kitty

If I pass and meet CA's requirement, I need apply VISA Screen certificate from CGFNs 3. To write NCLEX test 4. To get offer from any one hospital from CA 5. To apply TN 6. But I have no idea if I need send my application to CGFNS and take the CGFNS exam or send my application to California Board of Registered Nursing. From the instruction of Licensure by Examination (http://www.rn.ca.gov/applicants/lic-exam.shtml), it looks like that I only need send my application package to board of registered nuring.
