hi! thanks to everyone who's been sharing their experiences in SEC. i'll be taking it too this september (all 4 areas)... i had been adviced by the others who are preparing for the exam to read mosby's or lippincott's comprehensive review to acquaint myself in the canadian setting... i'd like to ask if you know how to answer the self assessment form. i've read that they want evidences. does it mean that i need to tell them how i do things in the hospital? do i have to add my rationale for doing such actions? hope you guys can help me... thanks a lot!

hi ikang! i just emailed kwantlen that i would like to have the sec sometime in july or august...depends on the result of my tourist visa application (which i haven't filed yet....) i only have the mosby 2003 & the crne prep guide 2007... i'm living in cavite...

does anyone know of a sudden change in crnbc.ca? everytime i try to open the COMPLAINTS or CONTACT US button, an ADXstudio textbox appears and asks me to log in. this has prevented me to open different areas in the website... please help... thanks!!!

hi! i submitted mine dec. 9-11... they didn't give me an account number... the letter they sent me was dated dec 16 & i received it jan 8 (due to the holiday break)...

hey guys! it's me again... i received a letter from crnbc telling me that they did not receive my ielts result. but according to IDP & DHL the package was delivered last dec.10. i emailed them the detailed report of the package. what should i do? should i just send them a new one or should i wait for their reply? hope you guys can help me... thanks!!!

hi hotpotato... i had my workshop for ielts with idp.... our instructor gave us a lot of tips for the exam... here are some of them: >make sure that the checker (i don't know what they call themselves...) won't have to count the words you've written... write more than the needed words... >use paragraphing but you don't have to indent the first line... just leave a space in between the paragraphs... >don't use quotes nor use the same words over&over because such words won't be counted... >give 20mins for the 1st part, then go on the second part even if you haven't finished the 1st... if you still have some remaining time, you can go back to the first to finish it... the 2nd part has more points...

hi n50307!!! i've scored high on my ielts.... one important thing to remember is be truthful.... especially if you're being asked about personal matters during the 1st part...(eg. the place where you live...or your workplace....) on the second part where you need to talk for a few minutes straight, if you don't have much to say, mention different examples to support your main idea... the examiner will work on the ideas you've given....
