  1. I am so glad to find this thread. I am 31 and have just started school again. I have a few more classes to take before I can apply for the RN program. I am and have been a stay at home mom for 10 years with my five kids. It took me this long to acually find something I was willing to work hard at and finish. I have been suprised that there is a good mix of ages in most of my classes. All I could think of was that I didn't want to end up in a class with a bunch of 18 and 19 year old kids. An added bonus is my kids are so impressed that mom has homework and is studying just like they are!!
  2. Actually, they will all be in school and my husband has a great job with wonderful flexibility. I am also very interested in working the night shift. I am a bit of a night owl!!
  3. For all of you experienced NICU nurses. I am wondering if being a bit older and having children (5 to be exact) will hinder me from getting a job in a NICU.
