  1. Sounds like you're doing everything right. As long as you have documentation, references etc, I think you're in good shape.

  3. A couple of areas that are more forgiving/open to such matters? I suggest dialysis and for now perhaps nursing homes. Maybe not your first choice, but if you want to continue nursing, those are 2 areas that are a bit easier when it comes to stops/supervision. Generally speaking, in dialysis you are flushing/packing lines. (So much more, but mostly no controlled substances). And Nursing homes have very few IVs, but even there you encounter controlled substances. LTAC is another avenue. But the higher the acuity, the more supervision and liability to the staff and facility. That is the view of the hiring parties. How do "we" reduce liability and risk.
