Hi there! I am currently a nursing student at Polk Community College. They offer the "Partnership for Success" to their students. Bartow Hospital, Lakeland Regional, Lake Wales, and Heart of Florida all participate in it. To get the partnership from Lakeland, you will have to have been an employee for a year. You may choose to have all or part of your education paid for by them. If they pay 2 semesters, you owe a year of work, 2 plus semesters, but less than 2 years, you will owe them 2 years of work. I got my first to semesters covered with the partnership program and the rest paid for by scholarships, thus I will either have to commit to work for the particular hospital or just pay them back. Also, them sponsoring your schooling is no guarantee that you will actually get hired by the hospital. Hope this helps.
